  I had a wonderful time at Apartments Jovan. The owners were really nice and pleasant. The pool is really nice. It was really peaceful and thats maybe the best about this place. Anything you need, you just ask the owner Jovan. He is glad to help anytime! I highly recommend Apartments Jovan!

  Best hotel in Montenegro

  Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Montenegro! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff.I selected this hotel because of its location. The rooms are adequate and spotlessly clean. I will return because of its employees who are genuinely welcoming and hospitable. Overall, if you want a great location, great view, a clean hotel - this is it, look nowhere else. This hotel is really accommodating for everyone

  Excellent apartment

  We stayed for 6 nights. The room was big and clean with a very good airconditioning (you could decide yourself), balcony with nice view and good shadow. The pool was very clean and a wonderful place in the sun. The breakfast was a buffet with homemade "croissant chocolat" and had all you need. The host Jovan and his father and mother was very friendly and helpful. It couldn't be better!

  Warning for group with kids

  I wish to share with others with my bad experience with the object. I came with two other families, we came with kids. Although other quest didnt comply about us the owner claimed we were to loud and asked us to leave the apartment. No one did any noisy talkings, no bad behavior. I thing the owners want to have super quiet hotel for people who want only read the books and have no conversations between each other. The problem is that there is no rules given in advance. I can not force kids to be super quiet because it is just simply impossible, they simply cant whispering all week long. They want to play with each other. Let me shortly give you quick depiction what happened. Our flight scheduled at 0610am landed on time in Podgorica at 0800am. About a hour later taxi drove us directly to the front of the hotel. One family took keys to the apartment at once, I took it one hour later, third family got keys after lunch. After arrival to hotel Ive entered the restaurant to ask if there is a chance for a coffee. The mother of the owner told me that there is no coffee today anymore. Ok. I did my own coffee in Italian espresso maker and have entered the restaurant again to take a cup for a coffee. The owners mom started to shout in her language. I left the cup in the restaurant (it was on the table) The owner came and said anything I want to do I have to ask him. Later on I was called by the owner for private conversation. He explained me the swimming pool rules which we were follow. He asked me also to be quiet. I briefed all my group about the rules, everyone accept to follow. During lunch time I spoke with the owner - nice smooth conversation, about live, he nor me had anything in argue. Kids at that time were in the pool with mothers, fathers had some conversation in the terrace. Normal day, normal live. Try to imagine my surprise when after coming back from the dinner we had in restaurant I got a letter from the owners Father with following text: See the attachment All the morning I was calling to booking.com At 10am the owner switched off the internet connection while we still were looking for the next accommodation. During that time the owner called the Police, the officer talked to the owner in the local language having no knowledge of English. I thing he shout at the owner because we didnt do anything criminal. After his intervention, the owner switched on the internet again. We found something else and finally left the horror monastery place. It was horror for crying kids. Although the place is very clean and well equipped in my opinion the dictator of this place is the Mother. If you plan to have nice vacation with friends and kids you have to avoid the place. Reading books, no laughing, no conversation - this is the place for you. Sad story, I know. I experienced by my own.

  Outstanding

  From the moment we arrived we felt like a king and queen. Jovan collected us from the airport. It was a lovely drive to the apartments, only to find out we'd be on our own, due to lack of tourism from the effects of covid 19. We had the whole place to ourselves. We were made feel very welcome. We got the top floor 1 bed apartment. Room 7. This was so beautiful. The views were stunning. The pool was great. 5 mins from the beach. And the local bus was brilliant, and right outside the apartments. Good value for the bus. No need for taxis. (Tip. Do not get a taxi in the night, it will cost a small fortune). It's not often I would give a 10 out of 10 but I am this time. I highly recommend the Jovan apartments to everyone. It will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Jovan and your family for making us so welcome.
