    Ideal

Lovely little apartment, an ideal size and location for the three of us. Beautiful views, and ideally placed in Lapad - just a few flights of stairs from the main strip of restaurants. At one end of the strip there's a brand new pebble beach, which is quite nice but not yet the nicest on the Peninsula. At the other end, there's a bus stop - the number six costs 10Kn if you buy your ticket from a kiosk before you get on, and doesn't take very long to get to town. It's also perfectly plausible to walk from here to the port, and we did this several times. The host's English is acceptable, and they were very accommodating of our arriving late due to a delayed flight.

    Home from home

What a beautiful apartment owned by a beautiful couple. Pictures do not do justice, you must visit to appreciate. Everything a home has the apartment pretty much has. We stayed as a family of three in apartment 1. Apartment 2, I think cater for 2 people. We had a large bathroom with bath and overhead shower, washing machine, towels, soap, toilet rolls all provided. Hubby and I, had the double bedroom with a large bed which was super comfortable, air con unit. Kitchen had the usual modcons, toaster, oven, fridge, kettle. A dining table and chairs, a pullout sofa/bed, which our daughter slept on which she said was very comfy, air con unit and of course the tv which we did not bother to use. Outside was a superb terrace with table and chairs, ideal for meals or evening drink. We arrived late evening where upon we were met by the owners Annah and Ivon who had provided hubby with some nice refreshing beers, and some bread, butter, milk, water for breakfast in the morning. What a lovely gesture. Throughout the week we were spoilt by having some homemade fruit strudel (made by Annah) and homegrown tomatoes. This made the week more memorable. We booked this apartment through Easyjet and would recommend using their transfers as you will get dropped off right outside the apartment and having only to climb 20 steps. To reach the main area of Lampard Bay, there are about 100 steps to descend, take in mind these will have to be climbed up when you want to go back. I believe local taxis dont cost much which may be preferable for the ones who struggle (like me). Tommys supermarket is a 10 minute walk away which provides all necessary requirements. Buses into Dubrovnik again only down the hill, No.6 bus and you can buy tickets at that bus stop. Exact change preferred 25kuna return. All in all a wonderful holiday and highly recommended

    Lovely apartment and owners

Returned a few days ago after six nights at this great apartment. Agree completely with all previous reviews. Owners could not do enough to welcome us. Had a disastrous transfer from the airport with the company we usually use-Hoppa. Driver dropped us on the road instead of the accommodation so we had an uphill struggle with cases etc until a friendly local came to our aid. Phoned the next day to uk to complain and cancel our return transfer. Our lovely hosts then arranged for a local taxi company to take us on the day of our return flight. Would highly recommend this property but would advise as others have there are many steps to consider for the less mobile

    Great location, lovely owners

We spent 3 nights in this accommodation in the Lapad region of Dubrovnik. The owners were lovely and greeted us on arrival. They provided a map, explained which buses to use to get to the old town. They were also happy to advise the best way to get to the accommodation from the airport. We took a bus from the airport then a taxi from the old town, but you could consider hopping on number 6 bus instead of a taxi. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a fridge, washing machine, a hob, toaster, kettle, air conditioning, hairdryer and WiFi. The owners were kind enough to provide water, tea, coffee & sugar.. The accommodation is a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest bus station where you hop on the number 6 bus to the old town - approximately 10-15 minutes. It costs 12 kuna (about £2) for a one way ticket if you purchase the ticket from the stand by the bus station. There is a street that leads to the beach with a variety of restaurants about 5 minutes from the accommodation, including local delicacies, burgers, pizzas and seafood and all are reasonably priced. There is also a supermarket about 10 minutes from the accommodation. The accommodation is located on a hill, and there are steps leading to the apartments. One way to the bus stop also involves 148 steps - something to bare in mind for potential guests, however there is an alternative route that cars take and is not as steep. Overall, we loved it!
