  A hotel of this class should have WiFi.

  A supposedly good hotel without a WiFi. Does something like this still exist elsewhere? You get a cable when you ask for it, but this is so short that you can only sit at the desk on an uncomfortable chair. And of course: your tablet or smartphone will be useless.

  Avoid this place

  Zingst is a great place for a holiday if you are retired or have small children as the whole town has gone to bed by ten o'clock. The beach is unbeatable if the weather is ok. However if you want to come here the hotel is not the best place to stay. On the plus side the breakfast in the restaurant is first class. The food in the Italian restaurant also appears to be of a higher standard than of many of the pizzerias that surround it. The dining room also has a play area set aside for children. To be blunt I have stayed in safer places in the Third World than here. On my first night here unbeknown to me the room was full of mosquitoes. So in the morning my legs and shoulders were covered with bites. A few days later after my foot began to swell and some of the bite marks turned to blisters I needed the help of a local doctor (and at my expense too). With the cleaners leaving the doors and windows open, when they do their duties, you need to clear the room of them on a daily basis. At moment it is hot and humid and there is no air con. Because of the mosquitoes you cannot leave the windows open so it is very difficult to sleep. As pointed out by other visitors there is no wi-fi either. One must go to reception to get a piece of wire to connect to the Internet. So remember to bring a laptop not an iPad. Another infuriating aspect of my stay is the carparking facilities. The spaces are very tight if you have a big car and there are not enough of them for every guest. This is a major problem if you arrive after 6 pm as the public car park shuts at the time. The staff at reception are useless at coming up with any other suggestions as to where to put your car. On street parking appears to be banned here. Another off-putting aspect of my stay was all the extra charges. If you want access to the kitchen cupboards and to the crockery that's another 20 euros. While if you want to use the hotel pool its 10 euros for two hours per person. If you have children under the age of 14 you will be robustly reminded to get them out by 2pm as it then turns into a "wellness centre" for pensioners, even if none turn up. I cannot think of any hotel (even those in the Third World) where I have been glad to get away from it during a holiday.

  huge appartement on central square

  the appartment is very central and very big with a big balcony. great breakfast with all types of cereals, bread, yoghurt, cheese and meat. The appartement is very well equipped with a lot of space for clothes and stuff
