DisappointingReading through reviews as far back as 2016, I can see that the problem with the SKY tv occurred even back then. We couldn't get SKY and went to reception who said that they would get someone out to fix it the next day - well, they obviously didn't as it still did not work! Breakfast was rubbish! The room was dated, dark, smelly. Toiletries, two bars of soap and shampoo. No conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser. The location was lovely but I would never return to that hotel. It definitely needs to be refurbished!

Very relaxing holidaySpent 9 days from 18th August in hotel Sheila with my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 15. It's an excellent well run hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast was perfect and coffee latte was my favourite . Pool was quite small however its not to busy and there was no rushing down to claim sunbeds in the morning which is a pet hate. We had two connecting rooms and one was an apartment. Very clean and perfect for a family of four. The hotel is close to main road and Piazzo milano . Lido is a classy area and perfect for relaxing evening walks for food and ice cream. I would return to this hotel One minor issue was our flight was moved to late in the evening and the hotel wanted 120 Euros to check out at 3pm . We didn't take this option due to price but this would have been nice on last day without having to shower around the pool.

Not greatCurrently staying in this hotel. Paid extra for one of the apartment rooms, on arrival 100 was demanded from us to use it, which we did not have in cash. It has now been locked off - there is not even a facility to make a drink - I have to say I'm totally disgusted by this attitude. To pay to use something o have already paid for is an outrage.

Very pleasant stayWas not looking to visit Venice, just found a good deal thru Tui so thought wifes birthday so why not. Usually do all inclusive but opted for b&b, limited reviews which was surprising, but all depends on peoples expectations and tolerances. Just a short flight of 2hrs and transfer of 45mins, on arrival at hotel we were greeted at reception, checked in and received a complementary beech bag with our towels and if we needed to change our towels there will be a 3 euro charge per towel. Very modern hotel with numerous rooms from couples to family sizes, our room was more catered for the older client as it had a shower with a seat and a toilet with a raised seat and hand rails, bed was really comfy, walk in wardrobe, free safe, air con, fridge, TV not many english channels (but i did not come away to watch telly) its nice to see that they can cater for all needs. Breakfast bacon and scrabbled egg, other egg styles on request, meats, cheese, pastries, coffees and teas, toaster, breads gluten free and vegan choices all good. Room service good, kept very clean, top shelf in walk in wardrobe was dusty but cleaner was only 5 3 and shelf was 6. We would gladly return to this hotel if we came back to Venice, you where made very welcome and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Great location, beautiful beech, restaurants, shops, etc, etc, really cater for familys and old gits like us, and very very clean. Venice not too far away, didnt do your operator trip at £68, went to local tobacconist and got tickets for two buses and boat for 18 each which took us 90m their and 90m back, beautiful views and well worth the trip, not too expensive if you keep to the back streets. But thats our experience and we werent disappointed.
