  Don't stay here

  Maybe this was nice/ nicer 30 years ago, which was probably the last time they did any maitanence here. Is is located next to a large windmill factory. And the Rügens ugliest beach, which is strange since both Sassnitz and Binz have beautifull coast lines. Also one of the main roads is located just next to the hotell.

  I will not repeat

  I staied there because of working reasons, but I booked another one for my next visit to Sassnitz. Rooms are big and clean, but are not cleaned every day. Wifi connection does not work, some days a little bit but usually was out of order or coberture. There is nothing close to hotel, you hsve to take the car to do anything. Car parking is a big swimming pool with a little rain. There are better places in Rugen.

  Not worth a repeat visit

  Overnight stay here was not very satisfactory. We booked only one night with the intention, that if we liked, it we would try and extend for another night at least. Luckily only booked the one night! Free wifi was advertised, but it was really not worth it. No service in the room. Could only access it from standing outside the side entrance door and then service was very intermittent with a very weak signal. We were unfortunately given a room on the bottom floor, which was very small with a small window looking on the back yard. Maybe the other rooms on higher floors could be better. It was quite clean but nothing more positive can be mentioned. We left as soon as we could.

  Bad bar service and attitude

  First time in Germany through work. Some of my colleagues and I went for a drink at the hotel bar. The barman was very rude and ignored us most the time. It would take multiple attempts before we could order a drink. It felt like he did not want us there. The barman was a small and relatively slim gentleman.

  If this would have been an ApartHotel, you would expect Apartments? Not in this case. The hotel is quite old , just along the traffic road, and with added blocks of 6 rooms newly installed on the back side (before the picture was taken). In any e , these Roms offer the standard 2 stars comfort as the isolation between rooms is quite limited. The rooms are very clean, modern but with ho comfort. However, aside of the disappointed room, I could point that the restaurant is good. Food was not only good, but well presented with efficient service. For 70-80 Euro , it should be acceptable. However, be careful if booking direct. It could be 3 times more. F.
