  First time to menorca

  On reading reviews of this hotel, we booked a holiday for 9 people for 10 nights, well how people can perceive accomodation beggars belief, we holiday abroad 6 times a year, and this place is definatley the worst ever.on late arrival in reception we were told that we were lucky as we close in 15 minutes. I dont know where that would have left us with 5 children in our party. Asked if there was anything we could get to eat for the kids,despite there being pizza on the counter, we were told in certain terms, No. so off to the apartment, told to follow me.well after dragging 8 suitcases and 5 half asleep children around the complex,we were no nearer to our beds. asked can I look at the map by our guide,oh sorry we have come the wrong way!. In the room good night sleep, only to find next day we would have to pay 18 euros for cot for baby,why?. breakfast in restuarant ordered fried breakfast x 2. Cant order 2 of anything, have to repeat your second order.waiter not that interested in making us welcome.lunchtime fancied a burger was told lettuce and onions would be 40 cents each extra.mini golf 1.50 per clubs, fine. But if not back in 30 minutes we would lose our 5 euros deposit,no exceptions. Kids pool outside block a 3 our room, water absolutely freezing, parasols broken tatty and some covered in pigeon droppings.sun beds broken and dirty.snack bar not very friendly (Gillian) asked for nuggets for kids no chips told have to have chips cant deviate from menu,if we dont have the chips will still have to pay full price quite abruptly. Kids play area alongside block a 1 covered in pigeon mess mixed in sand, all over apparatus and tiled area covered in the stuff. Pictures can be provided.had 3 sick children during our stay, coincidence ?. Tiled areas that cover all of poolside are filthy ingrained with staining. As they are only hosed down , at 7 am!. And not mopped with a cleaning agent.had a rat outside our room. No body really interested. 6.30 one morning trees were being sprayed with presumably insecticide, as tha operative was wearing full breathing apparatus,no clearing up of surplus spray on parasols sun beds and on floor.cleaners in room only go around furniture, dont move anything.on reflection this place is not for me, and wont be returning

  Recent holiday

  Booked this holiday after the T,C, debacle, at the last minute. Took the grandson, aged 3, and my wife. Cannot fault the apartment, best equipped kitchen I have ever had ! Spotlessly clean, great amenities and entertainment, great bar staff, special mention to Lauren the kids entertainment rep, she was fantastic with the kids ! Definately a family orientated site, would highly reccommend it for families with small children !

  Anniversary break

  Nice enough apartment and grounds plenty of pools bar and entertainment was good dont let the rating put you off if youre a family with young children as there is loads to do for them but as a couples holiday not really suitable

  Hemos estado 15 dias en apartamento Talayot de cala en blanes , Menorca. Apartamento no muy grande pero terraza si. Todo muy limpio, incluso cortinas y fundas sofá ,que normalmente en otros apartamentos están con polvo. Cocina con todos los utensilios, hay horno y microondas. Tambien nevera grande con congelador. Aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo, super bien. Vienen casi a diario a cambiar toallas y repasar baño y apto en general. Piscinas inmejorables, para niños esta muy bien. Hay una zona con tobogans muy chula. Hemos estado super tranquilos, sin ruidos. Ni del aparato del aire acondicionado ni de motores piscina. Aparacas en la calle pero muy cerca y siempre hemos encontrado. Si tengo q poner una pega, quizás muy enfocado todo a mercado inglés ( todos los letreros están solo en inglés) y que el personal de limpieza llega a las 7h de la mañana y al hablar (gritar) entre ellos te despiertas cada dia a esa hora. Repetiremos. Gracias.

  First time to Menorca

  Was our first time to these apartments. We asked for ground floor near childrens pool which we got. Lovely big apart with everything you need. There were only a few people there cos of Covid but everywhere was safe and very clean. Cleaners came every two days and changed towels and cleaned. Pool man/gardener was there everyday hosing grounds and cleaning the pools. Receptionist very helpful. Large supermarket opposite.
