  Older style but convenient location

  We had a lot of problems in this town with our bookings being cancelled due to our out of season visit, before finally settling on Apartmentos Nazarre. The price was right and we expected a cheap price given the low season. The apartment was very large and had great views both over the local street AND the seafront, large balcony facing the sea and small Juliet style over the street. However it wasnt particularly well set up for the winter traveller. Only 2 small heaters which didnt cover a 92sm area. We had to go about with our coats, beanies and scarfs! The kitchen amenties were very good, except no cleaning products, ie dishwashing liquid or scourers. Whilst I am OK with bringing all food provisions for an apartment I would have expected some small suppies of cleaning products. The other problem was having to check in at Hotel Mare, which delayed our check in by at least 45 minutes. Plus NO wifi!! unless we trekked up to Hotel Mare. I would recommend staying here, mainly for the convenient location and spaciousness the apartment offers, but be prepared it is very older style and the double bed on the smallerside. There was a fold up bed in the dining room, so could be a good option for a couple with a child. Supermarket is just across the street, so close you can hear the checkout scanning prices with the kitchen doors open. We were on the top floor, 51 stairs but no lift on the downside.

  Good location

  Very good location, close to everything: beach, market, shops, restaurants. Big appartment with all the facilities needed for a short stay. The top floor offers nice views, if the stairs are not a problem, as the building has no lift. There is no internet at the location. There was a strong chlorine odor on arrival.

  Surprising value

  Only paid 36 per night so only expected a small room. It was a spacious, immaculately clean apartment with a kitchen, bathroom and balconies, close to the bus depot. What really delighted was the view of the cliffs and old town directly off the north facing doors. There was a lovely breeze and a terrace for drying clothes. Many interesting shops as well as all the essential eating places were nearby. You have to check in at the Hotel Mare which offers free internet for apartment guests. Reception staff were very helpful. Would love to return here one day.

  it is okay

  You get what you pay for. I think it is very reasonably priced. We needed a one night stay during our road trip. This place has just done the job ... Even we called & informed them when we arrived, nobody came to greet us with the keys. I have to walk to another hotel which is not close by to collect the keys for the place. I also have to take the keys back. I think it is not a good customer service. They don't mention this important detail on their booking page either.

  En verano si, en invierno no

  El apartamento está bien por su precio. Limpio, cuidado, todo funciona bien. Pero era invierno y solo había dos radiadores electricos y hemos pasado frío,muchísimo frío, y no somos de una zona cálida precisamente.
