  Overall very good; great view

  Upsides: - Spacious and with a good view (and the view from the balcony in the lobby is truly excellent). Old but clean apartment (with a fridge) - Very good location (though not easy to find on your own the first time around). - Very important: Fast and reliable, free Internet connection. That is really the by far most important feature of any hotel room for me. - A small detail, but definitely a plus: In addition to shampoo and suchlike they actually had toothpaste in the bathroom. For those of us who try to travel with hand luggage only that is usually an annoying absence. Downside: - When I arrived the bank terminal didn't work so I had to pay cash - I would imagine that this is not a regular problem, though. - Breakfast isn't great (though not horrible) and doesn't come with coffee.

  Best value in downtown Kiev

  Found this place and so pleased with my find!. On previous visit to Kiev to find a reasonable rate I had to stay out of downtown. This is eleven rooms on the seventeen floor Your host will be Saida, a very nice and professional woman. She basically bought the eleventh floor of this building and built out the 17 units. Large spacious, modern furnished rooms, some with huge balcony's with unbelievable panoramic view and a very moderate rates. You will be just a sort walk to historic Kiev, restaurants, night clubs, Landscape Alley, as well as being on trolley line. I spent four nights there and could not be more pleased.   Nice for the price !

  It's a small hotel/apartment style on the 11th floor. I believe all rooms have a view , I'm close to city center . There is security at the entrance to the building , you then take the elevators to the 11th floor and the receptionist is right there , I was greeted by a stunning young lady who was pleasant and showed my room, it was fairly large for European standards, clean , orderly , flat screen tv, lounge sofa inside room , with large windows which opened up for a wonderful view of the area. It's refreshing to visit a country where the windows open up unobstructed by a screen or bars to affect our view . Most US and western hotels don't do this for fear of being sued if some clown falls or jumps out .... In the morning , a woman who looked like some model out of Cosmopolitan knocked on the door to bring orange juice and some kind of breakfast croissant . I didn't order it, I guess it's just an obligatory room service they have , but it was nice gesture . The room also had a small fridge, complimentary bottled water . The only thing somewhat annoying is they insist you leave them the room key as you come or go, this is very communistic and reminds me of the $10 night hotels in Russia where they have a floor Babushka keeping tabs on your coming and going ...

  When we arrive the elevator was not working ,i can live with that ,the aircondition was not working ,tv has no english channel ,no ice ,no room servise ,after 11 pm night if you want to bring a girl ,500 local money what the

  Good location, but...

  Location is very good. Withing walking distance of St. Sophia's Cathedral and the independence square. 15 min walk to the closest metro station. Was difficult to locate the hotel as there was no sign or anything that indicated the location of the hotel. The hotel is located on 11th floor and the elevator was located inside a unmarked door. Just luck that we managed to locate it after just searching for 15 minutes. Room was large. Bathtub was dirty when we arrived. Room contained complimentary bottles of water (which was opened and not full). Several members of staff had little knowledge of english. Several of the lamps in the room did not work and some did not have bulbs. Wifi was free and had OK speed. Cheap hotel, but I will pay more money next time for å better hotel.
