    decepcionante

    Good hotel at budget rates

Perfectly located hotel, just few minutes walk from subway and JR train station. Japanese buffet breakfast is good and bathroom with full set of toiletries. No irons in the hotel but there is trouser presser machine. Be prepared for really thin pillows :)

Ideal place with a perfect budget

I have being staying in the hotel for a few days now and find it very convenient in most aspects . The sub-way is 2 mins away , the JR line Kannai station is a 5-6 minute walk away. Restaurants , bars , shopping plaza all within a few minutes of walking distance. The famous China town is also a 15 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel lobby may not be very spacious but the staff is extremely polite and very helpful . The hotel room is a bit small , but for approx. $85 /day , its worth the money. The bed is comfortable and the bathrooms have all the basic toiletry articles. A minus point for non -Japanese speaking guests is the TV channels which are all Japanese except for BBC news ( which is in English) . Since they do have guests from other countries staying in the hotel, they should consider adding some more English TV channels. The 6th floor I am told is a dedicated "non -smoking rooms floor" and the top ( 14th ) floor has a public spa , a coin laundry and vending machines . The buffet breakfast ( a mix of Japanese and western style )for JPY 1100 is filling , though i wish at times they bring some variation in their egg preparation . Overall , a great place to stay , whether for business or on a holiday .

    Disappointing

We arrived early by a couple of hours and although our room was ready we were asked to pay an extra 1000 JYen per hour. They did store our bags and even twelve minutes before the hotel's official checkin time, we were refused check-in.. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked so we had selected a smoking room. The corridor to this room really stank. I would not advise booking a room here if it is on a floor the hotel allows smokers. The bedroom was very cramped with no drawer space to put our clothes - even having two suitcases in the room posed a problem. One plus, was the breakfast we paid extra for which was good.

Luxury feeling with a reasonable prize!

The hotel premises were just jaw-dropping. Onsen included and pool (only during summertime), two small conbini inside the hotel, two restaurants, european style cafe and a bar. Onsen was a really nice suprise, but they were super strict with the no tattoo-policy. They are giving around 10cm x 10cm tattoo plasters/ per day to seal your tattoos during your onsen visit, but if you have many, they are not enough. I Bought skin tape from Don Quijote and sealed my tattoos with that. Worked, even tough felt a bit stupid being plastered all over like that. The onsen was amazing and visited it a few times during my stay during silent hours. The hotel is also located in a really good place, if you are traveling by feet. Lots to see around the nearby area, for example there is a big shopping mall just after the bridge If you walk towards the bay area! The hotel room itself was a bit of a letdown, but just mostly because the person I was accomppanied with had booked a room where you could smoke. The cigarette smell was awful and during night unbearable, even tough I was a smoker too at the time visiting. Heating was also a proplem, since you could not turn it off. The room was otherwise quite nice with complimentary slippers and a lendable yukata for onsen visiting. Quite small tough, if you have a lot of luggage, like we did.
