  Nice staff, nice stay

  While Uozu is a bit of a backwater, this hotel was a relatively comfortable stay, albeit a bit pricier than the level of business hotels we usually use. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room was on the train tracks side of the building--great sunset views!--and we opened the window for ventilation. Yikes! Very noisy!

  Room was really small...

  The only reason I chose to stay here was because I couldn't find an affordable hotel in Toyama for the date I wanted. There were 3 of us so I chose to book the Triple Room but it was really, really small. There is hardly any space for us to open our luggage at all. Thank God we only stayed here for 1 night. The room itself was really clean though, and the bathroom was ironically pretty big. I guess the room would be just nice for a couple, but I really won't recommend 3 people to share a room here. The location was great though, very easy to find from the train station. The staff were really friendly too.

  Small but cozy and affordable

  Very basic amenities and room is a little small. Staffs are helpful and efficient. Had an issue with the windows not being able to close and open properly but they managed to get someone up to fix the issue within 10 minutes from our call. It was quite late in the night as well so we were impressed by the level of service. Hotel is just right beside the station hence it is very accessible.

  Disappointing stay!

  There was no heater in the room and the air conditioner could not be controlled separately in the room. When asked for a heater because it was cold, the hotel staff said "Sorry, there is nothing we can do but provide additional blankets". I did not book in APA expecting this. It is a well known chain of hotels and I expected better service.
