  What a nice outlook hotel

  This hotel comes with super nice outlook design. Just the room is so small but it doesn't matter to us. Poor point is it is far from matsuyama station, though it is just located next to one tram station but it is not popular tram stations.

  Excellent hotel and staff, highly recommend

  Spent just one night here but really enjoyed it. The beds were comfy, the outlook, over the park, was amazing. The rooms are clean and fresh, all the usual facilities are available, toiletries, night attire, etc. The staff are extremely helpful Previously I had lost a bag, at a station, I asked the receptionist if she could call the police for me. Two staff spent an hour and a half, sorting things out, talking to the railway company and the police. They gave me photocopies of all the details, to give to each hotel we were to stay in, until we leave. Excellent service way beyond what was expected. I like APA hotels and we have stayed in quite a few, in different cities, but this one has excelled itself. If Im ever in Matsuyama again, I will definitely choose this hotel Highly recommend

  Mixed emotions

  When I checked-in, I was told that a smoking room was reserved for me. I pointed out that I gave specifics when I booked through agoda.com. They tried switching but the hotel was fully booked, so I had no choice but to take the room. My point ... guests list down special requests because there are reasons. APA hotel should have emailed me that my request was not possible and I could have just found another hotel instead. However, I give credit to the location. My room had a great view of Matsuyama Castle. Breakfast was also filling and tasty. Staff were very accommodating and tried to work out the best solution to my problem.

  small but fully of amenities

  The building is quite old but the park view in front are great, very close to tram and not too far from train station. Bed is good. Breakfast also available (chargeable), varieties of Japanese style meal.

  mini honeymoon

  my husband came to visit me in kyoto from swaziland AND WE WENT DOWN to Matsuyama for sightseeing, when we mentioned this to the staff they upgraded our room so a more comfortable and spacious suite, so i think they are very kind
