  Room was a converted shop front!

  Stayed one night here and when we were shown room was in fact just a converted shop still with a full glass wall and door leading to what they referred to as a balcony. It was just some flower pots in the car park where motorbikes parked. Tried to get a refund as room not as described. Reception refused. I spoke to manager on phone and he offered 50% back, even though I hadn't even moved in yet. Spent night listening to motorbikes coming and going and geese honking and bathing in the lake/car park in the rain. It did not feel secure at all. Mosquitoes a plenty so deet up. Bathroom fittings all loose and had doors a bit like in a greenhouse. Bizarre. My sister had a better experience upstairs and said after we checked out the staff were using our room as a lounge area as next to reception. On the plus, they offer a free shuttle to so nang. Save yourself the hassle- stay closer to town. Not in some car park next to a road.

  The staff make this hotel

  We arrived to a very smelly room, it smelt so bad we had to buy air freshener. I think it was a problem with the drain in the bathroom. The beds were so so so hard. The location was okay, a short tuk tuk ride to the main area with all the bars. There were only two positives, the free tuk tuk service to the beach, and the amazing staff which were so smiley.

  Outside of town

  Second time staying in Ao Nang. Rooms were ok and the staff were pleasant. The Resotel is 10 minutes by motortaxi outside of Ao Nang town. Even though free transport is provided by the guesthouse up until 7pm it is too far away from the town for my liking. Lack of amenties and eateries nearby also.

  Not a good choice

  Receptionists were really nice and helpful but that's all. Pictures of rooms are of course one big fake!When we entered the room there was horrible smell! Our clothes smell bad many days after.The scariest area was probably bathroom. The only thing we needed was clean bed. But it wasn't. There were some bloody and another unidentified marks. Not recommend it to anyone else.

  Hotel on Krabi Island

  It is in a safe location near the beach and the cost is relatively low. The staff was very pleasant and attentive; however, the cleaning staff was not up to what I expect in the U.S. You do get a free breakfast buffet, but there was a problem with keeping insects off the food.
