  Hotel modesto de nueva construcción funcional y limpio

  Hotel tipo motel de carretera de nueva construcción sin lujos pero tranquilo, limpio y a menos de 5' andando del centro histórico. Las habitaciones pequeñas pero suficientes para dormir. Camas cómodas. Sin persianas (llevamos 5 hoteles y ninguno ha tenido). Parking al aire libre gratuito (cierran la puerta por la noche). Nos tocó una habita al parking y fue muy tranquila. Baño con cortina. Desayuno bufet sin excesos pero suficiente.  Resumen: correcto en calidad/precio. Por 50 (jul/2011) creo que está bien.

  Basic but clean

  We stayed at the Hotel Anton with our tour group for one night. We were in the family room upstairs in the eaves. The rooms here are basic but have comfortable beds and warm bedding. The bedside lamps are a worry as they get very hot and you can burn yourself when turning them off at night. Being a family room we had a walk in shower which was a welcome change from the deep, and at times slippery, showers over baths. The lift is at the far end of the hotel and reception is on the first floor at the opposite end to the lift, so if you have access problems or cannot handle stairs there is a long walk from entrance to the lift, then back to reception, then back to the lift to access you room. A bit clumsy. We had good wifi reception. Staff were friendly and helpful.

  A solid hotel

  The biggest problem with the hotel Anton is the arrival - if you arrive by bus. Busses coming from Prague and Jihlava stop at the station, and it will take you 25 min on foot to get to the he hotel. The walk is lovely, but stressful to your luggage - cobble street all over. The hotel is located close (10 mins) to the main square, in a green and lovely part of the city. It has a big parking lot, and an inner garden/yard where you can have a meal or a drink. The reception is located on the first floor (I didn't see an elevator). The rooms are small, basic, but clean. Wifi works great. Breakfast is basic. There is a restaurant offering lunch and dinner. I ate there twice - the food was very good. There is a good choice between traditional and classical meals. The hotel (reception) closes at 10, but you get a key to enter the property. The staff is nice.

  Basic but comfortable and in good position

  The Anton is a large hotel in a quiet position just outside the historic heart of Telc. The building is partly old but the overall feel is modern. My room was basic but comfortable, with good bathroom and wifi. Good buffet breakfast. Free parking in a parking lot behind the hotel. Friendly reception who showed me a choice of rooms. The hotel is about 6-7 minutes walk from Telcs magnificent central square. Cost of room including breakfast was 700 Crowns, A$44.

  Nice little town of Tel

  I think its the biggest hotel in the Town of Tel. Situated near the historical center, the hotel provided with all needs for a traveller for reasonable price. The only downgrade is the restaurant - the food and service was awful.
