  Good value apartment

  Well situated and in walking distance of this beautiful medieval town centre. Lovely apartment with lounge, kitchen, bedroom and big bathroom. A bit weird as it is beautiful and modern but not quite finished off. Lacking in a bit of warmth in the rooms, décor wise. Swimming pool is constantly locked up and can only gain entry when concierge is around. Gardens are not finished off. We had a ground floor apartment overlooking pool - ideal. All rooms have balconies. However it is a big complex and some of the rooms do not have a good aspect, would never see the sun. Good value though. Nice to stay in apartment rather than a hotel room.

  Tranquilidad y buen precio

  Amplia instalación con piscina y jardines. Los apartamentos están bien dotados, con una pequeña cocina y algo de menaje. La persona de recepción fue amable y servicial, aunque si no sabes hablar francés, las cosas se te pueden complicar. La limpieza no es ninguna maravilla ni tampoco un horror: alguna tela de araña da pistas sobre el nivel de exigencia. Me parece ideal para pasar unos días en este bonito pueblo francés.

  Very nice

  We stayed here one night whilst travelling onto Spain... Was pleasantly surprised... The room was comfortable the kitchen contained everything you needed and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in with extremely good quality bedding... The small balcony had a nice view but unfortunately it was raining so didn't spend much time outside..... In general I enjoyed my stay here.... Thank you....,

  DIY accommodation in a charming little town

  We came across the charming thermal spa town of Salies-de-Bearne last November on a "fact finding tour" in the region of our fave destination, Pau, home of Section Paloise rugby club (another story, another love affair). I digress..... We decided to come back for a few days so chose this local and (relatively) cheap apartment hotel on the edge of the town. WARNING! If you do choose to stay at S-de-B off-season be advised, much of the town isn't open but it's a stunning place nevertheless. FOR THE RESIDENCE * Well-equipped kitchenette - a selection of kitchen knives inc. an oyster knife (how posh!) * Dinning table and chairs * Digital cable TV * Good sized bathroom and separate WC AGAINST THE RESIDENCE * No Wifi in studios only in Reception (no pun!) which is open as a Lounge / Dinner to guest for their own food etc. * No maid service (DIY bed making on arrival and DIY cleaning and trash take-out when you leave). * A tad pricey - 109.80 for two nights as compared to 24-39 per night at typica Premiere Classee motel or ibis Budget hotel - if there was one around!
