  Nice quiet hotel

  Really nice hotel in Sarzana, quiet, clean, nice breakfast and beautiful rooms but a bit far from the center and so no bar and restaurant really near. I recommend it if youre by car, nice place to stay for few days and if you need a still place.

  Fantastic value in quiet location

  We stayed here on route to Rome and were delighted with the cleanliness and peace of it's location. Breakfast was included and had wide variety of choice which made for a very very economical stay. The bedrooms while quite basic have self catering facilities which we didn't need but a big plus was they are pet friendly and don't charge extra for your dog which we have found in other hotels. On departure we also received a little gift of local product from the owners - a ver nice touch.

  Family run and rural

  Antico Casale is beautifully situated on the edge of town in a rural location. Gorgeous views surrounded by farmland. Our hosts were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We understood that it was walking distance to the town. Whilst technically it is and we did so on the first night, I wouldn't recommend the walk home along unlit lanes with no footpaths. Well positioned for outings to Pisa, Florence & Cinque Terre etc. An affordable apartment which was basic but comfortable. It was an apartment for 3 but only really suited for 2 as the sofa bed was in the dining room. Main bed was wonderfully comfortable. Kitchen was very basic. No kettle was provided, however we requested one and the hosts happily provided one. Only a small thing but the only cups available were espresso cups which weren't suitable for a cup of tea. Again the host obliged and went as far as to tell us to keep them as a souvenir. Pool and grounds were wonderful - secluded and peaceful. The weekend functions whilst lovely to see could be quite noisy. Whilst we understood and wouldn't want to spoil their fun, the celebrations ran on quite late and 1 night I was woken up at 12:30 am by the music. Breakfast was relaxed and pleasant. Loved the different croissant and yoghurt varieties, though it did become a bit repetitive. Wouldn't really consider self catering in such a limited kitchen. Sadly the restaurant wasn't open to guests so you need to go out for food. This was a good place which could be great with some tweaks. Kettles as standard would be an improvement and also the inclusion of outdoor furniture for the veranda. We had just 1 chair by the door. It's the little things that make a big difference.

  Love this place

  2 min from Sarzanas Centre by car it is where this lovely Agriturismo is. Very week kept garden with olive and figs trees, as soon as you you get here you feel at peace. Staff super friendly. If I can fault on something the breakfast choice wasnt the best (especially for celiac) and some mornings they got a little lost serving breakfast but in their defense with Covid this year everything needed to be wrapped up and delivered to the table. Lovely size pool and garden with climbing frames for children. Super dog friendly

  Do not believe pictures

  We booked a room through booking.com for 2 adults and 2 children. When we arrived we discovered there where 2 beds less then shown on the pictures. The shower was filty and very old. We had to pay the full amount but did not even stay one night. This is a very bad place to stay. After sending several emails and phonecalls we did not receive any response.
