  Nice agriturismo

  This agriturismo is nice and clean. It has also a restaurant where food is average. The rooms are not big, but clean and pleasant, while then bathrooms are very small - I hope the owners will decide to enlarge them. This place is 13 Km from Viterbo and 60 Km from Rome, so its position is very good to visit the eternal city and, if you like healthy places, in Viterbo you can go to the Terme dei Papi, which is a very good spa

  A Mixed Bag

  This hotel is in a quiet location and the room was clean. The hotel is conveniently located just off the Via Francigena, so it was easy for a couple of tired pilgrims to locate. The food in the restaurant was okay and the service in the restaurant was very good. The waiter did not speak much English so the chef, a pleasant fellow, came out and explained the menu to us. However, the bald, grumpy fellow who checked was not welcoming. In the morning, he yelled at us for putting our luggage in the wrong spot and made us carry it back up a flight of stairs. When I asked for a a cappuccino and a tea at breakfast he seemed put out. But, other than Mr. Grumpy, not a bad experience.

  Via Francigena Stop

  We spent the night at this agriturismo after walking from Viterbo on the Via Francigena, it was our stop-off en route to Capranica. It was beautifully quiet with extensive gardens where we could sit quietly; the room was clean and tidy and had a small kitchen area. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good and the service excellent; they were able to provide a gluten-free meal. We ate in the main dining room where the staff were preparing the area for a wedding the following day - this added to the atmosphere and enjoyment, we also saw the bride and groom and their families who were preparing for the following day. Despite the staff being busy, they looked after us very well. It was an easy walk into Vetralla. An enjoyable stay and thanks to everyone at the agriturismo.

  Hotel & Restaurant Were Wonderful!!

  My wife and I stayed here along our Via Francigena pilgrimage. After our long day of walking, we were so happy to stay here with our group. Everything was amazing - the hotel room, the restaurant (where we ate dinner that night), the beautiful grounds were so peaceful. We loved every minute of our stay. We also really enjoyed meeting Bernardino - what a great guy who even helped us get started on our following morning when we continued onto Sutri.

  A Italian Countryside Inn

  Our group stayed at the Hotel Antica Locanda della Via Francigena this past year and it was a great stay. The rooms were both of good size and clean. Each room we had great window view of the place's beautiful grounds filled with orchards of olive trees, flowers, pottery, grassy areas and miles of greenery that can been seen afar in the peaceful setting of this hotel. (It is no wonder why this has been a popular place for weddings!) Such a great location! The staff was gracious, professional, and kind the entire time starting from the moment we booked with them via email and until the end of our stay. This place also had a great restaurant on site, which had great food that we ate for dinner. Sunsets in their garden area while drinking some vino with light snacks is the best here! This place is a must stay when visiting Vetralla! I would highly recommend this place as THE place to stay here.
