  Perfect Luxury Villas

  Perfect Luxury Villas! You van also try the luxury apartments. I think this is the 6th time here! We always ask for a different villa or apartment to stay! Anna's House is expanding every year and the interior designs are stylish and luxury. The location is perfect especially for those travelling around the island. Try the sharing pool villas... I will be back for sure.

  Still work to do, to become a 4-stars hotel

  We staid there 1 week in half board. Positive - staff very friendly and dedicated. Special thanks to the breakfast cook Argyro and in the main room, to Anna. Both are able to do multitasking and serve several customers at the same time - overall the resort is clean and quiet during the evening and night - good quality of beds - rooms are large enough Negative - very busy time at the breakfast : not enough staff for the quantity of guests generating bottlenecks, queues, lack of free table, plates from former guests remaining on the tables, or even dirty cutlery proposed for use (like this Sunday morning) - too humble breakfast : limited choice (ex.: fruits) and average quality of products proposed (ex.: slop coffee). Questionable taste - lots of mosquitos in the area which is normal, but no anti-bugs shades mounted on the windows (curtains are not enough) - low water pressure in the shower during the peak times (morning and late afternoon) - bad wifi coverage in the rooms away from the reception - stinking smell from plumbing in the bathroom - payable beach towels 3 / towel (never seen in a 4-stars hotel) - refill of shower gel and shampoo not made everyday (should be standard for a 4-stars hotel) - only 1 bottle of water and 1 bottle of juice complementary for the whole stay. Rest is chargeable - wild cats everywhere : at the breakfast begging for food, at the pool, in the garden where one can find cats pooh (!). Even for people loving animals like us, it is disturbing

  Wonderfully relaxing holiday

  We have just returned from a weeks stay, family of 2 adults 1 teenager, b&b, and we were blown away by the accommodation and staff of this hotel. We have holidayed in the village about 6/7 times, but this was our first time across the river! It is literally a 5 min walk to the main square, and is a lovely, quiet hotel at every time of day. We had room 39 in the main building, and although a bit unsure at first of having a ground floor room, it turned into a real blessing, only having to nip across the wall that separated us and the pool area! The room was lovely, having 2 balcony areas a real surprise, the air con worked really well, all the cooking facilities needed to rustle up a meal! Really good sized front balcony that didnt feel as though you were too close to next door, and so close to the pool to literally throw your towels on in the morning ( although finding sun beds was never an issue, we were normally the first towels out at about 9ish!). The bathroom was lovely too, water pressure was occasionally weak, but all depends on time of day and no different to anywhere else in Greece! Breakfast was always no problem, always lots of fresh produce and a place to sit! There was only one day when it felt busy, but still everyone had a seat and no issues with food availability! Big thank you to Ana who always worked so hard and was super friendly, and the lovely lady who greeted us every morning when cleaning our room! WiFi was fine, it was stronger in the bar and pool area, but if it was fine for our 14 yr old, it must be ok! Really pretty garden areas, didnt feel too close to anyone else and a handy bar to grab drinks and ice creams from, and also serves snacks if you want a lazy pool day! Definitely, definitely will return again!

  Lovely Quiet Hotel

  Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing. Lovely pool area and gardens, the staff were very nice and helpful. Great place to stay, about 10 to 15 minutes walk into town and only 10 miinutes to the beach.

  Lovely stay

  We booked this relatively last minute never having been to Crete before and wondering how Covid safe everything would be. It was lovely. The owner helped us with an airport pick up from Chania and the driver even took us to Annas house, waited while we unloaded and then dropped us back in to nearby Georgioupolis as wed arrived late and wanted to eat quickly. We stayed in a villa at the main site which have two bedrooms and a sofa bed, with balconies from each bedroom overlooking the pool, mountains and a glimpse of the sea from one. All clean and modern. The pool and facilities are good. Annas house is a 5-10 min walk from two beaches and shops, tavernas and so on, which meant we didnt need a car. Overall a lovely stay.
