  Hit & Miss

  First impression was a poor one, Receptionist that checked my family in was so unhelpful and rude. Please make sure you have printed your booking voucher as you will be left in reception until you do so. Showing your email reservation is not acceptable. After a 10 hour journey with 2 tired babies was stressful without this drama. Apparently we were given a upgraded room.I bed to differ on the websites photographs. Food was cold, overcooked and repetitive. The all inclusive bar limited and soft drinks were flat. You won't go hungry or thirsty my rating would be 5/10 Beware the seating areas are swapped with wasps that hover around your food. Entertainment non existent spent our evenings on the balcony,have come home with copious mosquito bites. There is no social distancing whatsoever but the staff are wearing masks. The staff work incredibly hard and deserve recognition for their efforts. I did not find any indoor toilets they are all located at the pool bars so no baby changing facilities. Hit- Nice small warm shingle beach and courtesy bus that would take you into Roda.

  Holiday

  First of all me and my wife wanted to go away so choices were limited found this on website we went with a open mind after the worst airport transfer we have ever had checking in was a nightmare because I hadnt printed hotel voucher even thought it was on my phone now advice from on the beach who we booked this with was not to print paper work off due to Covid eventually we managed to email the hotel voucher to hotels email address so it was a stressful start having been travelling nearly 9 hrs and 1am in morning hotel was large with 3 swimming pools 3 bars 2 restaurants all inclusive food was poor no social distancing whatsoever when queuing in very small dining area in my option there were too many guests the drinks were really poor not sure if they were alcoholic as no affect no matter how much you drank room was basic but big enough for us really unpleasant smell though and we were bitten quite a lot even though we had mosquito protection on the hotel put on a free bus to roda which was good as nothing by hotel I would recommend Roxannes bar in roda excellent food and free sun beds by beach all in all we made the best of our week there but because of Covid and the stress that brings maybe should have saved money

  After a cancelled holiday to Mexico in May, then a cancelled holiday to Spain in September, we booked Angela Beach as a last resort where we could enjoy our holiday without the worry of quarentine when we got back. What a fabulous place. Absolutely spotless, situated right on the beach but with a choice of 3 pools if sand isn't your thing. Three bars, two restaurants and loads of sunbeds! Free bus into Roda town was fab, if the bus was full Spiros the driver would just come back for you - lovely, lovely man. So, we are already planning our return same time next year but as a larger party - upping the English ratio, after all, not everyone speaks German

  Lovely remote hotel

  Just returned from this hotel 45 minute transfer from airport. Check in was okay room was basic but clean. You can request clean towels for the next day. Food was good with a good selection. Bar staff and cleaners work so hard. Only downside is there's a lack of toilets. Entertainment was good and the bus that goes into Roda.

  Nice hotel roda better

  The hotel itself is lovely rooms are basic but have everything you need, staff are wonderful and always try to go above and beyond, vary rarely did we eat at the hotel as the food was a miss mashed hell, who wants hot dogs for breakfast nice little private beach for when the sun was shining and lovely pools, the pizza and kabab snack bar was a life saver when the menu was not for us, the hotel and menu is geared up for german tourists and there was very few non Germans but i dont see this as an issue, dont go on holiday to be with fellow brits , the game changer is the free bus into roda, the driver "dave" (didnt know his name) is lovely and very very punctual. Roda has some amazing bars taverns and restaurants make sure you try them out, especially Agrilla restaurant you wont be disappointed. Would definitely recommend roda, but maybe not the hotel, if you have an issue with wasps DONT GO HERE, they are everywhere and in your food and drinks from the moment you sit to the moment you leave. The queues for the restaurants was very long due to the covid rules but went down quickly. If it wasnt an AI hotel I would recommend Hotel 6/10 Roda 9/10 The fact i got a lovely week away 10/10
