  Breakfast was good. Rooms nice and clean with view of the sea. You carry your luggage to your room but thats ok there is the elevator from the parking lot. The location is great. Walking distance to the Bandrma vapuru. The ship which Atatürk came to Samsun with

  Poor experience

  Anemon Samsun claims to be a 5 star hotel with 0 star amenities ans customer service, it was located in the middle of chunky suburb, actually whole Samsun people looks unhappy, having problems with themselves, no one smiled, people's negativity makes the city negative cold dark place to stay.

  The Anemon Samsun lies a bit away from the city centre next to a big shopping centre. It is a highrise with a nice rooftop restaurant called sky lounge, which I found just a bit exaggerated. My room had an enormous glass front, from which I could see the busy boulevard on the sea shore and some residential quarters of Samsun. It was pretty spacious and clean. The bathroom smelled strange. The food served was average. Unlike other reviewers on this page, I found that the breakfast was a treat. The service at the reception was a bit slow. When I wanted to check out, the automatic key did not open the door to my room any more. Even though I could not walk well due to an accident I had had before, I had to return to the reception several times before an employee opened the door. The problem could not really be found, so I had to check out of the room with the door open. The problem was that you need the key in the elevator, too. My room was on the fifth floor!!

  Good location, decent size rooms, very nice swimming pool

  We came to Samsun for a business trip and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is right next to the biggest mall in Samsun so that was convenient. Also right across from the hotel there is a huge park with a very nice walking track and also a boardwalk along the black sea. The location is perfect. The rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was not very good, the omelettes did not look edible at all. Everything was perfect except for the breakfast. Also, the pool and the gym are perfect, swam everyday during my visit and it was a good edition to the hotel.

  Beautiful hotel but needs some attention to details

  Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and clean room. However, the bathroom needs the following items repaired: 1- change the light bulbs for lamps on each side of the mirror 2- the shower door doesn't close 3- the waterfall shower head is busted Also, the light in hallway flickers when the light switch is off Furthermore, please invest in larger bath towels. I called for AC to be looked into because it wasn't cooling. The technician never showed up.
