Luxury at its bestGreat hotel with wonderful staff in tiny Turkish village. Rooms are big, unlike many Turkish hotels, with siting area and nice TV. This one has an indoor swimming pool, Turkish bath (mamman) and saunas. Breakfast was very Turkish and a highlight of our stay. A great experience. We liked it so much we skipped some of the tourist sights we planned on seeing to go back for pure relaxation. The village is rural and agricultural and pure Turkish and we love that, too.

What a find!Wow a classy hotel in the little village of Cavdarhisar, which hosts the ancient ruins of Aizenoi. We were stunned to find this, modestly priced, spacious, quiet and cool with all amenities and attentive service. I am not sure if there were any other guests at this time of the year (October.) Amazing lobby with palms and chandeliers, chairs to sit and read in, big rooms, and all you need, including spacious and clean bathrooms. We were attended to in the restaurant as if we werent the only people there and able to choose from a full range of menu. Spoken English was limited and Google Translate was in evidence! They opened up the sauna just for me, and nothing was too much trouble. There was prompt assistance in and out of the hotel with our bags. This was really a fantastic place, and just so unexpected to be able to stagger in from the ruins to such comfort. I agree with Virgil H's review!

Excellence at a small priceOne of the nicest hotel experiences I have had in Turkey. The property is of excellent design and quality. You would certainly not expect a luxury boutique style hotel like this in such a small village. Rooms were spacious and expensively furnished, the bathrooms are a total delight. The only other hotel I stayed at in Turkey that had similar high standards was the Meridien in Istanbul (at six times the price). On top of that the staff went out of their way to make this a pleasant and carefree stay. My compliments in particular to the two gentlemen at the reception and the English speaking Filipino lady which helped resolve an issue I had with my booking without any bureaucracy or red tape. One felt like a family guest in a house rather than a paying customer which is what good hotels should be all about. And the best thing about the hotel: It is a five star property at a one star price. In terms of getting there: I spent the day in Sardis and thought I would not make it to Aizenoi. But it turns out the last dolmus from Usak to Gediz leaves at 10.40 pm so I got that. And then at Gediz there was a midnight bus to Istanbul via Eskishehir so I got that and was dropped off right in front of Anemon hotel. In case, there is no bus there is a great hotel at the Gediz bus station which is also way above the standard you would expect in these parts of the world. Aizenoi itself is one of my favorite sites in Turkey (I lived two years in Turkey and traveled to every major site from Ani to Ephesus and everything in between). Plan for at least half a day wondering around and enjoy freshening up with the water from the many irrigation systems being everywhere.

Nice and clean! Welcoming staff! It is a nice and clean hotel. Staff were friendly though no idea about their linguistic skills since I speak Turkish. If you need to stay in cavushisar, then it is the only option. We travelled with kids and the rooms were ok for family. The breakfast was also ok though not a state of art!
