  Nice place. Spacious apartments.

  It was our first visit in Ayia NApa and we ha just 2 days and a night, so we choose a hotel, which was close to the main attractions of the resort. Top location, very close to the port and the big beach, a large supermarket at the corner, bars and restaurants across the street. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. We stayed for just a night and it was ok. The pool looks clean, but we didin't use it, we went to the beach and to a boat trip instead. Staff at the reception are friendly and speak English well enough. Apartments are spatious, a 1-bedroom apartment can easily accommodate 4 people. Our apartment didn't overloo the pool, so it wasn't very noisy in the night. There was an air conditioner only in the bedroom; none in the living-room. The kitchenette was not well equipped. In fact there was neither a cooker, nor cooking pots; only a kettle and a toaster, Furniture is quite old, but the bed was comfortable. It was not possible to close the bedroom door. Bathroom was small, yet it had a bathtub. Some problems with flushing the water in the toilet. Like everywhere in Cyprus the contacts are of "British" type... "European" adapters were available at the reception at a price of 2 Euro. I would have rated the hotel higher, if not for a small cockroach i had to kill in the living-room. Also, wi-fi signal was not permanent.

  Short Stay

  We have been to Ayia Napa before and knew the location of these apartments which is very good, although we booked the apartment 3 months in advance they got the date wrong and the room we requested ( over looking pool ) was not available, we were offered a choice of three rooms and decided on 1st floor room. The rooms are not self catering as there`s only toaster and kettle, bathroom has bath with over shower, didn't always get hot water, we could hear the guests walking about in the apartment above, door handle came off bedroom door, beds not very good, the towels were old and frayed, the last straw was when we put the light on in the middle of the night and saw cockroaches running all over, we moved out the next day and found another hotel.

  The worst accomodation but the best location

  It was a really bad experience. We stayed with my family for one night luckily. We were 4 people so we had 2 people in the bedroom with A/C and two people in the living room without A/C. I couldn't sleep without A/C and my bed-sofa was so uncomfortable and i could hear the people next door. The bathroom was too dirty and i didn't have internet in the room only downstairs where the reception is. The location is amazing and it is cheap.

  3rd visit

  This is the third time we have been to the Androthea Hotel & Apartments. The furniture is a bit dated, but the rooms are big and the swimming pool is enormous! It is very central for the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop directly outside, which is really handy. We certainly enjoyed our stay here again and hope to be coming back next year. Thanks Kiri, Chris and the rest of the staff.

  Don't recommend this hotel!!! They are not reliable!

  My friends and I had a reservation for 4 rooms done thru an online travel agency, paid in advance since February. At arrival, we were informed that they miss read the booking and they saw only one room instead of 4 rooms. Funny, if we would have we paid only for 1 room instead of 4 they would have noticed, no? They offered relocation and transfer to a hotel situated 1.5 km away from that point. Actually what they did was to make overbooking and they tried to walk out us to another hotel which was not similar nor in the same area. I asked them to offer me another accommodation in the area and they refused to offer any other alternative. I also asked to discuss with the owner and he refused to show up. You can imagine this as a start of a vacation, sitting in an unknown town, in the middle of the night, with no proper accommodation and no help. Luckily we found across the street the perfect place, which I really recommend - Melpo Antia Suites- they really saved us. Regarding this place, please be careful as they are not reliable, in the season they are trying to sell as much as they can without caring of the guests, choosing which ones to keep. Later we found out that the owner was sitting just on the street near us and he was laughing at us. This situation is not acceptable and for sure I was not happy with it. I had my money blocked 4 months and I didn't get the paid service. Moreover, I was forced to look for an acceptable accommodation in the middle of the night. Dear owner, I really wish you have the same treatment as we had from you on all your holidays and to not have clients if you value them so little! So, dear travellers, choose wisely reliable properties and I hope you don't have problems on your trips.
