  Pleasant property worth considering

  The staff are attentive and service good. Hot water readily available too .... and if you've been in Dhaka enough times, you will realise that at times, you've got to run a lot of water before the hot water appears ! The hotel is away from the main rosd which means peaceful sleep. Bufet breakfast is basic but adequate. Airport pick up: they engage a good agent and the car was there in a timely manner. Gym: open 24/7 and underutilised, which is great !

  Refuge in the City

  A private, gated, secure, clean (considering location Dhaka) but could do with some additional attention to details accommodation with airport transfers and a very friendly and accommodating staff on hand.

  The most hospitable place

  I live in US and used 4-5 star hotels in US, Canada and South America. I had to recently visit Dhaka during which I stayed at Anchorage in Sector 4, Uttara, Dhaka. I was pleasantly surprised by this Hotels excellent service and amenities. This hotel may not be 5 star by the set criteria but the service is world class, same if not better than any 5 star hotel. The staff of this hotel are very professional and extremely courteous - they are always eager to help. My heart entirely melted when I found I was sent a cold remedy herbal drink to my room from the top floor cafe as the house keeping staff became aware of my sore throat and relayed to them. Prior to my arrival, the way I heard from my friends and family regarding security issues in Dhaka, I was kind of scared and nervous but I found this place very secure and they take all kind of security measures including a metal detector at the entrance. I think this is the best place to stay in Dhaka and I would always stay in this place every time I visit Dhaka.

  Super hospitality!

  I have been regularly staying at this hotel during my all bz trips to Dhaka for last 2 years now, I appreciate the balanced approach it personal and professional approach hotel staff possess. My high recommendation goes for this hotel.

  Passable...just

  Stayed 1 night and pick up from airport was good and as planned with a pleasant driver. The first thing I noticed when arriving at the hotel was the damp smell in the reception. Unfortunately this was also evident in the twin room which was very cramped. There was no safe in the room as stated on the notices. The service overall was okay but not as good as other hotel's in Bangladesh. The worst bit was when checking out and the chap in reception was sleeping behind the desk! I couldn't wake him up but the security guard managed to. There was no greeting and he seemed a bit perturbed that I had woken him! The shuttle bus was there but no driver so they put me in an Uber to the airport. Oh and the AC didn't seem to work so I didn't get much sleep which wasn't helped by the rock hard mattress.
