  Very good value and excellent hosts

  We stayed here for 2 nights and we were treated splendidly. John was very welcoming and we had lovely chats over breakfast whilst Barbara was cooking our breakfasts . The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully warm with really comfortable beds. The prices are so reasonable and this must be ranked as one of the best B&Bs in Dartmouth !!

  A weekend in Dartmouth

  Well what can we say. We adored this guest house . Spotlessly clean. Excellent room. Warm and cosy. Breakfast was Gorgous. Plenty of choice . Nothing was too much trouble . Beautiful guest house. Made us feel So welcome . Helpful on places to visit. Met another couple at breakfast they were delightful. Parking available. 5 mins walk to the centre. Lord If cafes shops public houses to choose and all dog friendly ..The hosts were A1. Would definitely stay here again . And highly recommend it to friends family . Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

  What a lovely week with a lovely couple

  We arrived at anchor house and as soon as we pulled on the drive we were welcomed by John Who showed us around the facilities and our room. We then met Barbara the following morning whilst they both cooked us a marvellous breakfast, as they did every day. Great people, down to earth! Would 100% recommend, will definitely be staying there again when we return to Dartmouth!

  What a delightful Bed and Breakfast

  My wife and I stayed for three nights for a long weekend. John and Barbara could not be more accommodating. No complaints whatsoever. Facilities were good, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts lovely. Only six minutes walk to the centre of town. Recommended!

  Shame no hot water.

  An older style property with usual quirky room features. Breakfast was nice and theres the bonus of parking to the rear of the property. A 10 minute down hill walk to the harbour. The room only had a Bath with only a hand held shower head, no screen. Although this wasnt an issue due to no hot water or heating for our two night stay. Hosts were very apologetic and left a bottle of champagne in our room. Out of their control I know but not being able to shower until our third day at our next hotel. It would have been more accepting had we been offered a small discount for not providing a fully comfortable stay.
