    Do NOT go there

The place is surely economic, but there's a reason for that. The room was filthy, apart from the bed sheets which were clean, but the beds smelled bad anyway, and the wooden parts were ruined and dirty. The towels weren't in the room when we arrived, and we had to ask for them a couple of times before they were given to us. We had a 4 bed room, a double and a bunk bed, but the latter was nothing but two normal beds stacked one on top of the other kept still just by a couple of screws for each side, I couldn't believe it. The bathroom door didn't have the handle, the toilet didn't have the seat, and there was no toilet paper. The shower worked, no complaints about that. There was a tv, but the remote, even though it was functional, was broken and dirty. The owner seemed kind but not the most trustworthy person around. There are just two pros for what i've seen: First, it's not far from the center of the town; second, the owner gave us the code to open the main door, so we could actually get in whenever we want; third, free Wi-Fi connection. Anyway, the place is bad, and you won't feel comfortable staying or sleeping there, I would give it 0 stars, but I can't.

    Value for money

I'm writing this as we all are still in the room after staying the night. First off the staff in the hotel was very friendly with us. There was a problem with a leak in another room and were given a discount without having to ask for it. The rooms aren't amazing, but it bugs me to see reviews of people who expect a 5 star hotel when they book on a budget. The rooms are a bit dated and maybe a bit dusty but the beds, toilet and bathroom are definitly clean. There is 24h access to the hotel (and people moaning about not having a lift, come on.. the building has 3 floors...) There is parking available all around the building (which only cost a couple of euros certain hours during the day) and a walk away from some cafes and restaurants. If you're after a stay on a budget or like us needing to stay a night half way of a long journey then yes do book this. If you are after a 5 star hotel, go elsewhere. Thank you staff, we'll be back in 10 days!

    Neither English or Spanish spoken..

No stars for this hotel. No English or Spanish spoken. There was a confusion about the payment, they got upset when I tried to call my trip operator and cancelled our reservation, telling the room had a problem and at the end recognizing he decided, after the misunderstanding, to have assigned the room to another person. This happened after almost 2 hours of trying to communicate ( they only spoke Arabic and French) even offering an interpreter arranged by my tour operator on the phone, but they did not make use of it. We left the place without having a place to stay. I just could apologize for the confusion as good as I could, using Google Translator, wished them a good Ramadan, trying to make a statement that this should not been the attitude of a person called Muslim and celebrating a feast as Ramadan. We decided to hit the road, and after 30 minutes he called me, asking me to come back, but we we were too far and too disappointed that we decided not to do it.

    No words

This hotel shouldnt even be open. The entrance to hotel has a smashed window( unsafe for our little children) it wasnt even boarded over! There was the worst smell of smoke as we were walking up to the room. We opened our door and the smell of smoke was unreal( it says its non smoking). The bunk beds werent safe for our two children( no pillows either) requested some and they had cigarette burns in them! No toilet rolls! The double bed had bed bugs too. There was mould growing up the walls. We obviously didnt stay as I have a child with asthma. It is a low budget hotel and understand basic but this was appalling. Please dont stay.

    Terrible experience

Worst hotel ever. We had booked a room two months ago on hotels.com to see the World Cup game between Sweden and the USA. When we arrived at the hotel there was no room available. We were rebooked at a hotel 80 kms outside Le Havre. There was no transportation available after the game. We had to spend the night at a bench at the central station. Still we had to pay for the hotel room we could not use. Terrible experience, especially when travelling with a kid. Avoid this hotel. Will never use hotels.com again.
