  Gorgeous sunsets

  This hotel is located close to Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf, MOO, EGG and Lawson's. Check the time for sunset and go to the Nusamai Bridge for excellent photos and from the bridge you can see the Nusamai Park Flower Clock. The best breakfast can be found at the Kushiro Washo Market. The hotel's only flaw was the narrow walkway in the room.

  Good, not perfect

  The room was clean, with all the necessary accessories. The location k is good, on the seashore, 10 - 15 minutes walk to the train station. Downsides- staff speaks some English, but definitely not good enough for huge 4-star hotel. We gave the expensive breakfast a try and didn't like it.

  Great location

  Easy to locate with paid parking on site. The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. With the brand name the decor is definitely more upmarket. However the layout is too tight. It was difficult to manouevre into the room with the luggage. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. It is a short walk to the river and harbour. There are also restaurants nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

  Great location and excellent service

  We stayed at CP Kushiro for three nights during our excursions in the area. I've had great experience at most Crowne Plazas in Japan, and despite its remote location, CP Kushiro certainly delivered. The staff greeted us at check-in for being Platinum members, upgrade our room, and offered us drink vouchers for every night of our stay. He even offered to help with our bags (quite rare for IHG properties in Japan except for IC). The room was quite large, had plenty of power outlets and most amenities you would expect from a Crowne Plaza in Japan. While some of the amenities such as the bidet aren't the newest model, everything was sparkling clean. The housekeeping staff also did a great job of only replacing the towels we put in the shower tub. The view from the room was stunning. Being at the corner, we saw the famous Kushiro sunset on one side and the sunrise on the other side. The only minor complaints we had were that the water temperature wasn't very stable, and that the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to use in room (but it was encrypted and very fast in the lobby). We made use of the drink vouchers and visited the top floor bar every night, and were pleasantly surprised that they use champagne for the "sparking wine". The view of the bar was great as well, and the price was quite reasonable. I'd definitely recommend visiting during sunset hours. The hotel is about 10-minute walk from the JR station (650 yen taxi), and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near by. The department store MOO is just across the street, and the airport shuttle departs from there. All the staff we encountered were fantastic and super helpful, and spoken enough English that communication was never a problem. I'd definitely return to CP Kushiro when I visit Kushiro again.

  Great Location in front of river

  Kushiro has very cold winter, but I could enjoy walking to Kushiro station from the hotel. It is located in front of river and the water flow of the big river made me relaxed. The environment is quiet but convenient to have some shops and restaurant nearby.
