Good One Night StayBooked this hotel for one night visit to Amphawa... Its a nice little hotel... look nice and clean from outside... We were given welcome drinks upon checking in...and check in procedures were very simple and fast... We were given a very nice 2 bedroom suite.... the layout and furniture were simple but it was very nice, neat and clean. The only thing is that the floor is bare cement finish... and the mattress was way too soft, which is not good to sleep on.... The split AC unit were quiet & cold They have also placed a wind chimes at the balcony... luckily the breeze wasn't strong... Wifi here was reasonably fast as well... Breakfast was simple and the staff were very accommodative... Overall it was a good short stay... My only complaint would be that they switched everything off on the dot pass check out hour without any warning....

Thai Floating marketVery comfortable room. Great breakfast. Great location with the parking & easy access to the floating market make it much nicer. Staffs are very helpful & friendly. Spa is amazing. I really enjoy the boat trip both at night for the fire flyers & the day time to the Damnuensaduak floating market . Long ride but very nice to see how the people live along the river.

Reasonable price with great locationOne night at Amphawa nanon is good. The place is clean, has super soft bed and locate near floating market (just 2 mins) but take too long time for the food. I think this place is the biggest hotel around floating market.

Extra points for good location and StaffWe stayed here for a weekend visit to the famous floating market. We drove ourselves and lucky google maps was spot on for navigation as it is a bit tricky to get to. Nonetheless after a few wrong turns we made it. The entrance of the main road to get to the market is a bit confusing as the lanes are separated quite wide at the light so take care when you are turning in. The hotel is located right across the road from a 7-11 which is really handy. The floating market is about three blocks away if you cross the road. There is a back entrance to the market on the same side of the road as the hotel about a half block away - which goes through a restaurant that has Marvel super-hero statues - and that is definitely the easier way to get to the market. The hotel is a newer property, clean and with a large lounge area where you can sit while waiting to check in. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. The hotel has a boutique feel and it was fully booked on the weekend we stayed. There was lots of parking front and back, and a ramp for access to those who are mobility impaired. The restaurant on the main floor is only open for breakfast. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was a small but good buffet with a decent number of western and Asian choices and a fresh egg bar for omelet and eggs any way you like. Lots of different juices and teas, coffee as well. There is also a rooftop bar and restaurant but we did not try it. There is a spa which our mum tried and enjoyed the massage very much. Booking is recommended - it was BUSY. Spa staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the front desk staff. They were kind enough to accompany our elderly mum to our room and make sure she was settled in ok. A small elevator or large wide stairwell will take you to the rooms. The room numbers are projected towards the ceiling rather than on the doors - which confused mum as she was looking for room numbers on the doors. Rooms were spacious and clean and used lots of wood. But single beds are small so if there are three in a room - you need to get one of the larger rooms. There was a fridge but it was not cold. There was a tiny balcony just wide enough to fit a chair to sit sideways. We did not use it as it was too hot outside. Air con was available and welcome but a bit noisy. The bathroom double doors did not quite close, but closed enough to offer some privacy. The shower was huge and the pressure was excellent. Be alert that because the shower is fairly open the bathroom floor can get very wet and slippery. Our only negative was it was noisy - you could hear people in the rooms beside us, and in the hallways, and you could hear the television next door, as well as a baby crying. Thankfully, people were considerate enough to stop making noise by 10pm and it was a peaceful night of sleep. All in all we had a vary nice stay here, and would stay again.
