  What a farce

  This has to be the worst hotel Ive ever been to. The dining area, in particular the tables, was left filthy although staff kept putting down clean cutlery for the next guests, my arms were sticky from the mess on the table as I left the restaurant. Check in was from 3 and our room was still not ready at 5, the floors were soaking and the puddles were still there upon checkout. We had to call reception 5 times for towels and sheets - the sheets didnt arrive until 11pm after we had gone out and came back and found they had not arrived. The first lot of sheets came wet and the second lot of sheets came dirty.

  Good location and cheap

  Cheap hotel, staff is ok, The luggage handlers keep asking for tips. No wifi in room, No drinking water in the room. Good location and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good an has a live cooking station for eggs etc.

  A good value for Money

  The hotel is not a 4 stat hotel but as a value for money i can rate it as so. It has a good location in middle of the old Alexandria if you are into visiting the old Alexandria, It's not far from the Sea but there is no Sea View. The service is really good and the ppl their are really friendly. The only concern i have is the parking as it's not Free and limited space. A lot of areas in the Hotel are re-innovated which is a good thing as it's an old one but they are on it step by step. Overall my experience is good there and i think i'll revisit it again if i'm considering Alex.

  Good visit

  As soon as we got to the hotel, we were greeted by a very nice hostess, who spoke the best english we had heard here in Egypt so far. They were very quick in getting us a room, even though it was too early for a check-in, and they also got us neighbor rooms, since we asked for two (a double and a triple). The rooms were very spacious and had big windows (with thick curtains), with a view that wasnt beautiful, but it showed what life was like in Alexandria. From here, you can hear the calls to prayer very loudly all throughout the day, which is nice at first, but it can become a bit annoying, specially when youre trying to sleep. The breakfast is good, it has traditional egyptian breakfast, a good selection of breads and an omelet station, which is really nice. The AC can also be used to warm up the room, which was helpful, since we came during winter time and it was really cold.

  The dirtier room ever

  The room was not clean at all, i think they didn't even try to clean it after the previous check-out. We found An empty cigarette box & leftover fries and ketchup under the beds!!! Bathroom wasn't clean as well and there's hair in the shower sink!! There are only 1 bath towel for 3 persons in the room !!! Location wasn't good The restaurant was good bas not the best. There are sanitizers in the hotel ( near elevator & reception) but not working!
