Do not recommendVery disappointed with hotel. In my opinion nothing except the interior of hotel and location is worth more than 3*. Personal stuff is very unprofessional, even rude sometimes. I traveled thru the world a lot, always staying at 4-5 stars hotels. Many strange rules in this hotel. Like they change beach hotels only every 3 days. So you have to use the same smelly, sandy towel for 3 days. Also they give you new bath kit (shower gel, shampoo) only after they find it in your bath trash bag (this is exactly what we were told then they asked for shampoo). The mini bar is empty, they said its only for fridge, not meant to be a mini bar. So there are no water bottles or etc. They said we can use tap water but it really smells like chlorinated. At the restaurant they always check your outfit before breakfast, lunch and especially during dinner. If you will wear bikini under your clothes and it will be transparent clothing on the top they will ask you to wear different wardrobe next time. If you come to dinner with casual outfit (dress code is always mini black dress) or wear plastic shoes they will not let you in to dinner until you go back to room to change. Personal stuff mostly always look unhappy, no smile. You feel here like you should be happy that we let you stay in our hotel. Also we noticed older people (like over 40-50 years) are more welcome here. They mostly smile at them. We can see how personal always make more attention to them. Food is also poor choice. Important thing is also that at the beach you have only plastic bed, if you want bed with mattress you have to pay 10 as it belongs to the Bikini bar and not to hotel. Also at the bar they offer only 4 cocktails. If you want more cocktails you can ask for extended menu but then 5/ cocktail. And yes this is even if you have all inclusive like we had . Would not recommend it and would not come here again.

Dissapointed. Rude staff. No Privacy.Very unprofessional staff. They should learn how to speak with their guests with better manners. If you ask them something they always look at you with an attitude that you interrupted them. They also change beach towels only every 3 days. So better take your towels with you! Also all inclusive means one order per person at the bar. And they offer only 4 cocktails choice. Want more?! Show your pockets :)) The beach is also NOT PRIVATE. There are always many random people walking and also bringing their kinds. By the way, they are using the same sunbeds. Its really noisy at the beach all the time. Also before each meal when you come to restaurant they check your outfit. You cant wear transparent clothes, they will ask you to change if bikini is visible under it. You always have this feeling that they are watching you. Really annoying. Very disappointed with my decision of choosing this hotel in Greece.

Terrible ammos beach hotelthe hotel is not worth the attention at all. it looks good because it's new, but ... service is zero, if you come back with everything, it won't be all water after all, other minus the fact that last night I saw a few items stolen from my cosmetics, talking to their boss, but he accused me realistically because from where they knew if it was really, I presented jealousy if she had dresses and if she wanted a room she could pick whatever she wanted because it wasn't even showing up because she wasn't put in the safe. bravo for their misunderstanding absolutely not recommend

SUPER HOTELWe had an amazing holiday at this hotel, really recommend it. It's a great location and the hotel itself is beautiful, delicious food as well. The staff was really wonderful especially Eliza at the reception desk, Eleni at the restaurant and hotel manager Michalis. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Rimvydas and Asta Vilnius, Lithuania

Fantastic placeI will put this in the very beginning: this was one of the most enjoyable holiday locations we've been in Greece so far! Having visited several islands (incl. Rhodes, Zakhyntos and others), this hotel has given us so many good things to reminisce. 1) Location - Malia: very touristy, super busy in high season, and enjoyable enough when visited in September. A lot of places to go out to eat, drink, party, plan excursions, car/bike rentals and other activities. Hotel is located at the very end of one of the main streets cutting through town towards the seaside. Overlooking the beach, with private entrance to the hotel pool area. Lots of shops within walking distance from the hotel. 2) Hotel: 5* ...which (in my opinion) is spot on. Adults only, with hotel staff being very religious about that rule. Boutique-style, simple yet somewhat fancy when it comes to many design ideas implemented. 3) Staff and service: Fantastic. All of the people working in Ammos Beach Hotel are friendly and helpful. Hotel manager (mr Michalis) is a truly wonderful and dedicated person. His attitude towards guests is phenomenal. Manager being in the hotel, and trying to at least try to have small talk with most of the guests is just incredible. Mr Michalis is polite and helpful. He recommended us a couple of places to visit during our stay.He speaks 5 languages, which is something worth noting. 4) Cleanliness: Perfect. We stayed for 12 days, and during that time we were asked almost everyday if we wish to have our room cleaned. Personally, seems like an "overkill" to me. Still, room service was great throughout. Even during the day, you could see some of the staff cleaning windows, sweeping the sand (carried over by the guests) from the lobby and hotel corridors. No dirt hidden in the corners of rooms or bathrooms. Great job on that! 5) Food: Very good. As usually in all-inclusive options: selection of various meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, mini-bar with snacks in-between main meal times. Pool bar with wide selection of local and foreign alcohols (extra charge). 6) Price/Value ratio: High. Not the cheapest place to be, but well worth the price. Hotel is not big (80 rooms) so do not expect things like vast pool areas and/or aqua parks; numerous bars/lounges - nope. Still, when you want to relax it's the place to be: quiet enough with unobtrusive staff, fantastic lounge music being played all day long(!). Final words: Highly recommended! It turned out to be one of the best holidays in Greece we've had so far!
