Friendly hotel for a business traveller

Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is OK, nothing fancy, nor bad food. The only problem is the location. It is reconstructed from an old apartment building. We had problems finding it on arrival. Over all nice and cozy hotel for the price.

    I felt there very well

I was there accomodated 4 nights in June (just in the period of "White nights"). I was feeling there really very pleasantly even it is a reconstructed aparment building. The room was equipped nicely and stylishly, everything was functioning. Really cozy. I had there no troubles with sleeping. Breakfast was acceptable, everybody could find there something according his choice. Then I have found excellent the meals prepared by the cook in the restaurant. I had only a bad luck that just that week was the shuttle-bus connecting the hotel with the nearest metro station out of order. And not the last matter is the attitude of the personnel. They were professional and friendly.

    What was the REAL BAD.

First of all It was a small business trip so i hadn't a possibility to choose the hotel by myself. Otherwise it definetely could be another hotel. Actually I've found very precise definition for the Aminyevskaya - "in the middle of nowhere". No underground station around the hotel, no any restaurants, no any shops, no nothing (i know that it shouldn't be words like these here but "no nothing" will be definetely right words). It's pretty good that hotel has a shuttle bus to the "Slavyanskij bulvar" undeground station, but the schedule definetely needs in improvement in order to add at least one additional trip before 8am, at 7 or 7:30 would be great. My colleague told me that it was like that few months earlier and i don't know that was the exact reason to cancel that first shuttle. What about rooms? They're usual. It's ok, really. Pretty good quality for you money. The furniture is pretty good also. It's almost new, very functional. Nice bathroom, very clean. I liked it. But what was the bad you'll ask? The service! No, no the staff was polite and friendly and it really needs them when they're trying to help their clients to stay in a good mood during more than one hour long period when these clients are awaiting their usual glass of usual beer for example. Or then your pair of jeans which should be returned a few days ago from laundry but still hadn't returned before you check out and this girl at the receptionist desk said "We'll send it to you later by mail, okay?". Is it funny they thought? Listen to me. The hotel itself is good. The rest of it is just pity. Stay away from the Aminyevskaya. Try to choose another hotel if you can do it.

Simple, but nice hotel with excellent food in the worst location possible

No, I had no choice. This hotel was booked for me by my hosts. Way out in the suburbs, you are in walking distance to nothingness, except if you love nuclear power plants. There's plenty in the back yard (see pics). The rooms are simple, spacious and clean, with a phenomenal shower. Most American hotels could learn something! In principle, everything was great at this simple hotel, except for the location. It was really far out and there were literally no food options nearby (the closest restaurant I found was 2 miles away and there is no sidewalk due to a huge construction zone). However, the in-house restaurant was excellent. This was likely the best-cooked salmon I have ever had. Moist, just done right. I must say again, completely unexpected. So why 3/5? First, because of the horrible location (forget about jogging, too). Second, because it is a simple business hotel. No, I would not stay there again. Not even if I would do business in that area. Any Uber chargers you less than USD10 from the center to that area, which is well worth staying somewhere closer to the Moscow we see in the Travel Channel...

    Great! Except for the location

Everything was good - clean rooms, polite efficient staff, very good food & beer, reasonable wifi. The only problem is its remote location - nothing of any interest around. You need a taxi to get about.
