  What a find

  I visited the Amfitriti 23-30 May 2019 with my daughter . The owner arranged for her nephew to pick us up from the port. When we arrived at the hotel the owner greeted us warmly . Our room was bigger than most 4 star hotels Ive stayed in . It was equipped with a kettle and fridge . There was also a small oven, plates etc which we didnt use . The room was clean and comfortable. Beds and towels changed regularly The view from the patio was amazing . A few steps away was the beautiful beach with free sun beds and the Harami beach cafe / restaurant . A five minute walk along a rough path along the coast leads to the town centre . You need your torch at night .Some reviewers have commented on there being no bath plug or shower curtain but I say when in Greece .....We plan to return .Thank you

  Unforgettable holiday

  We have just returned from a week at the Amfitriti Hotel in Lakka. We absolutely loved every minute. Located in a quiet spot overlooking the sea, 5 mins walk from Lakka Village, which is so beautiful. The rooms were spacious and light, we loved that the sliding doors to the balcony had mosquito netting doors as well as glass doors and shutters. So called 5 star hotels don't even offer that! The rooms were cleaned every day, clean towels and sheets provided every other day. Nothing is too much trouble for Marilly and her staff, all so welcoming and helpful. We really do hope to return one day - soon!

  Superb position.

  Great service from the hotel staff (i stayed in the apartments) The room was very large, super clean,and with a view to die for. Superb location, but very steep hill especially up to the top apartments. Beautiful walk from the hotel to the village but a rough track so anyone with walking difficulties could struggle.

  Fantastic location

  We recently stayed at the Amfitriti In Lakka and had a truly wonderful time. The room was basic but perfect for us (a couple) with a good sized fridge, small free-standing oven and hob which served us well. Air con was great and the bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious. The room was kept very clean with frequent fresh towels and bedding. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and although we never had breakfast at the hotel this was an option. The beach was fantastic- literally at the bottom of the steps (there were 100!! so kept us fit) and the town was 5 mins along the path. The hotel is on a very steep hill (hence the steps) so gives amazing views of the bay. There is a small pool but the beach was so beautiful we only went in it once. The beach has pebbles so a pair of beach swim shoes makes it easier to get in the water which was crystal clear and warm. There is a taverna/ bar down on the beach which was also excellent and there was plenty of space to find a sunbed and enjoy a beer by the sea! The location of the Amfitriti couldnt have been better and the welcoming and friendly staff and the proximity to the town coupled with breathtaking views made the whole experience really enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

  Perfection

  We're just back from the most fabulous 19 nights in this authenticly Greek hotel. Our room, 234, was large and clean, with a view that would take your breath away! We had breakfast every morning on the large balcony. The cooking facilities are minimal but I loved that, it gave me the perfect excuse to eat out every night The towels are changed every two days and the room was made up everyday! There is air con in the room, which was brilliant and much needed after a day in the sun. Marilly and her team are fantastic, we felt like family by the time we left. Nothing was a problem, very chilled and relaxed. Beach is beautiful, water is amazing and it's pebbles so no sand getting everywhere! Romeo and Kyriakos from the hotel will bring you beers and snack all day if you like! Lanka town just a 5 min walk along the stoney, not very well lit path ( use your phone torch,you'll be fine), where there are lots of restaurants and a few bars, way more than we expected so we we're pleasantly surprised. We loved Lakka, it's very relaxed, lots of boats in the bay and a lovely chilled atmosphere! We can't wait to go back. Thanks for having us
