  Top place on the lake

  Very warm and welcoming staff, delicious food and a variety of activities to choose from on the lake. Its also the perfect place if you have children as they are always entertained no matter what the weather condition is.

  Sehr gutes Hotel

  For us this was a great and relaxing stay in a very good hotel in a beautiful area of Austria. The facilities and the food in particular - breakfast and dinner - were excellent. Best however was the friendly and professional service provided by the total team. We really felt customers taken care off. We certainly hope to come back once more and can recommend this hotel to couples and families.

  The third time of brilliant luxory stay in the paradise! What makes a good hotel?

  My family has been to there for third time. Perfect location near the beautiful, clean and warm lake. Forest surroundings and wild nature. Historically old and strong family-run hotel traditions. Warm, friendly and very well-trained staff. Large, clean and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need. Tasty food and good restaurant service. The Sammers is the REAL FAMILY! Their attitude to even very small details makes the hotel one of the best within Austrian lake hotels. The is the hotel where you want to come again and again!

  Amazing location, perfect view over beautiful lake, superb food, friendly staff, overall fantastic stay!

  The view was amazing, the food was superb, and the staff were very friendly. Frank was our waiter for all four nights, he was caring, helpful, looked after us and was also charming to chat with. Further he helped my wife organise Australian Father's Day with sparkling wine at our desk. I cannot thank him enough to make our stay so lovely. Brandon Hold at reception was very helpful with room upgrades which we requested for a surcharge. Further, the hotel guests were very friendly and relaxed, consisting of a mostly older client base, with a few children and/or grand children. The hotel is family friendly, however it is not the easiest property to navigate with a stroller. Overall we had a fantastic stay in a wonderful hotel with a beautiful lake and beach. Thank you The only drawback was the navigation through the hotel grounds with a stroller. For example, our room required us to carry the stroller across three steps (no big deal). Also there's a lift dedicated for staff and machines, which we were able to use to bypass the stairs. Further, the restaurant also had 1 or 2 steps to climb, depending on where you sit. Despite the few steps to conquer, I do not consider this a show stopper and would visit the hotel again.

  21 years and counting in paradise!

  My family and I have been coming to this lake-based resort for the past 21 years. The resort offers everything and anything for all ages and needs. It is the perfect escape from your typical summertime destinations and offers complete privacy and relaxation on one Austrias gorgeous (motor-free) lakes. The resort offers an extensive and unlimited breakfast buffet, along with a daily lunch snack (with the option of ala carte orders) and a daily 5-course meal which you have the ability to select the morning of the meal. Additionally, the hotel offers two private docks with an exclusive sauna area, a premium beach bar, two pools (one indoor and another outdoor), along with a tennis court, a full-service spa, and access to bikes and e-bikes. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere unbeatable, and overall my family and I wouldn't choose anywhere else to spend our annual summer holidays.
