No heatArrived in the room at the end of the evening and there was no heat. When calling the front desk to report it, I was told there was nothing that could be done other than to bring an extra blanket. Be sure to check if EVERYTHING is in working order as soon as you check in and leave if they do not resolve it.

Polite, clean, fun, and very accommodatingEven during a pandemic this hotel was fun and accommodating for our youth hockey team. They provided space for us to have pizza, the pool area was large and spacious and everything was clean. The bag breakfast was all carb based, but not bad if you're not watching your carbs.

Extra charge if you are localApparently the general manager is upset they have had issues with people every weekend. Not sure what these issues are. When checking in, they charge $100.00 CASH ONLY to local people. You can get this money back when you check out if they inspect your room and it is up to their standards. Is this even legal to do? Discrimination 1st of all. 2nd what is their standards that you have to have your room clean? Also some guy walks around the pool are the whole time, making sure everyone follows the rules. Pretty intimidating to little kids. Won't come back and will make sure this is on every social media I have. I wonder if the corporate office is aware of the extra charge for local people only.

Awful customer service, even worse GMThe worst customer service Ive ever experienced! I very rarely write reviews, but this one you need to be sure to steer clear of! When I booked my room, I specified that I wanted a poolside room. When we arrived we were given a second floor room. When asked to change it, we were told we couldnt because there was currently a party happening in the pool area for the owners of the hotel. We lugged out stuff and our 3 children up to our room but to our surprise, were able to get a first floor room! We happily moved and were pleased that this was made right. Except, the receptionist was very rude to us, pushing blame off to someone else and giving us the GM business card. We called the number only to have it picked up by the same receptionist for her to snap at us for calling. She told us, the GM is currently attending the party and you need to leave him alone. The pool area was big and open and OVERRAN with children. We came with our children so thats fine, except it was so bad that we couldnt even get into the hot tub and when we did we had small children splashing and even trying to sit on us. Covid still exists and we are willing to venture out, but for a hotel that speaks about what theyre doing to make our stay safe, they honestly werent doing anything. And as the receptionist stated, this was the owners party. I called today, and I cannot believe how extremely unprofessional and rude the general manager, Chase Campbell, was. From the gate he was very rude, stating youre just one of THOSE people, who try to get free stuff how offensive! I tried to bring up the pool and how it was so chaotic and he yelled at me saying its a family place, kids can be at the pool. Of course they can, I had no problem with the children being there, but the hot tub sign says no children 6 and under and no minor without parent supervision was allowed. When I stated that, Chase called me a liar, and even went as far as going out and reading it for himself. He then recanted it (because I was right) but said he was going to remove the sign. He also said We are one of the only pools open so Im going to stuff it as full as I possibly can whenever I possibly can. I said, isnt there guidelines youre supposed to be following, he said prove I'm not and when I mentioned contacting corporate he said go ahead, itll just lead you back to a call from me. What do you think theyre going to do about it? Nothing! Just disgusting. Bad management, bad service, ALL BAD!

Awful customer service, even worse General Manager!I dont usually write reviews, but this one you need to steer clear of! TERRIBLE! What could have been corrected and remedied by a simple apology and reassurance from a general manager, was actually made worse after speaking to the one and only Chase Campbell! The general manager at this hotel is extremely rude and offensive. I booked this hotel for a weekend stay with me, my husband, and our three children. I specifically asked for a poolside room. Upon arrival we were given a second floor room, when we asked for a poolside we were told we couldnt because the owners were having a birthday party and all the rooms were booked. The line was long and I didnt want to hold it up so I told the receptionist that we would gather our belongings, but that I would be back to discuss our reservation. So we lugged out kids and luggage to our second floor room, and my husband went back down to talk to the receptionist. We were told excited to find out there was a poolside room available and we gladly moved our items again. The receptionist was not nice, and very condescending, but our wrong was righted and it was good. Except it wasnt. The party happening in the pool area was chaotic. Small children running around everywhere. Which is fine to an extent, theyre children, we have them too, let them have fun. Except, we couldnt even sit in the hot tub, and when we did, there were tons of kids packed in it swimming, splashing, squirting little ducks they bought out of the claw machine. Very few parents around at all. One little girl kept sitting on me. Very uncomfortable. Remember, the bosses party! The signs read no children under 6 permitted in the whirlpool and no minors allowed in whirlpool without parental supervision. So I called today to speak to Mr. Campbell about his hotel. Almost the first words out of his mouth were I see you as one of THOSE people who try to get free stuff. How offensive and unprofessional! He called me a liar about the signs in the pool and even went as far as going to the pool to look only to recant, but no apologize. Instead he said Im just going to remove that sign, because I dont follow it. I told him its not an issue of the kids playing, but rules being followed so all guests can enjoy their stay and he said we are one of the only pools open in town, im going to pack that pool as full as I can as often as I can I questioned this because it is still Covid and he said prove it. I said I would be contacting corporate and he said do it, itll just land you back in a phone call with me. What are they going to do? Nothing Hes a very arrogant and unprofessional man and he gloated About the fact that he was in the hotel that night drinking and that his parents own the hotel so theres nothing I can do about his actions. Very awful management. Do not recommend this place!
