  Will ot be stopping here again

  Nothing really bad just not good. We booked parking and got confirmation through Booking.com. When we arrived no parking. Even though my husband is disabled. The manager just shrugged his shoulders and said so what. If you use Booking.com take your reservation confirmation. We were charged for parking but did not get this, we did get a refund but only after asking and begrudgingly. From arrival staff unhappy and did not wish to be there, unhelpful with any thing. Would not really talk to customers. Did just about get a hello. In the room damp smell all the time. Radiator in bathroom loose. Last full day here finally got a floor mat for the shower. We used a towel each time we showered. Beds really soft. We do not smoke but outside our window an lamp cover full of old smelly fag butts, on the fire escape. Horrid smell. Hopefully we got bitten by Mosquitos not bed begs but both of us bright red with bites. Breakfast adequate Never had to pay before we stayed, we had battled to park and the to walk back to the hotel, then we get asked to pay for out stay, we did but this was bit of a shock to the system. They said encase we left without paying. Ok if only hotel left in Ostend. Did not like having dogs around when I ate my breakfast. We used this as a base best thing to do.

  Room very tired, beds imposible to sleep in, when i requested a firmer one i was informed they were all the same. breakfast not that good either, will ot stay their again even though it was dog freindly

  Vacation in Oostende

  We stayed in Hotel ambassadeur from 23 until 28 September. The room we stayed in was average The matrasses of the beds were way to soft The door of the shower was missing Very unfriendly staff. To much noise in the morning I would not recommend to stay here

  at least the pancake was hot

  We were in Ostend, shopping at 't Iengels Wienkeltje. (they are very friendly and helpful). We wanted something to drink and a pancake, so we went looking for a place: Hotel Ambassadeur. The pancake was hot, very hot indeed. But it also was very chewy!! The waiter... I don't know if he still had a living wish: he was really lingering, hardly spoke a word, really was not friendly at all. During these corona times, in Belgium a list with contact details is obligated; no one mentioned it nor did we see that list... So next time we definitely will be looking for another tea room
