  Desayuno y localización buenísimos

  El hotel amaris queda a una cuadra de la estación de tren. El desayuno tenía variedad. Las habitaciones estaban buenas, con televisión, baño limpio y la cama era bien confortable. Olten en si tiene transporte muy bueno, ibas de Olten a Interlaken sin bajarte del tren.

  One of my favorite places to stay, good value for the money

  This is always one of my favorite places to stay (on business). Great value for the money as the hotel is clean, rooms modern and breakfast buffet is perfect. Promiximity to the train station is a huge plus, I mean it is really right on it. But not loud as the AC is fine and you can close up all the windows. I really like to stay here. And while Olten is nothing extraordinary, it is very pleasant and relaxing. Well worth an evening stroll and dinner on the river during the summer is just great.

  Convenient hotel

  My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Amaris in July. We were using Olten as a base for train travel throughout Switzerland and this hotel suited us nicely as it was close to the train station. Our room was small but comfortable and with double glazing on the windows there was no problem with noise from trains passing through. The bathroom was updated and had a walk in shower, which is what we prefer. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The town is small but worth exploring. Overall, a good stay.

  A lovely well-run hotel right next to one of Switzerland's main rail hubs.

  Hotel Amaris is well-run by its pleasant, experienced and helpful staff. There are a choice of different size bedrooms, ours was with balcony overlooking the railway tracks as my brother was a rail enthusiast. The beds were comfortable, the shower room modern and large and it had the usual facilities of a 3* hotel. It was just perfect. The breakfast buffet was superb with a good choice of hot and cold dishes. Every waitress gave excellent service with a smile. The Amaris has its own bar and lounge and is well patronised by the locals. We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities included but this is a minor gripe. Olten is a lovely quaint riverside town with its own Lucerne-esque wooden bridge. It has many bars and restaurants in its old town district and its a delightful base to explore many other parts of Switzerland Highly recommended. Enjoy.

  Very nice hotel

  We, family of 4, stayed here for 1 night, passing through Switzerland. The hotel is located next to the train station, which offers several shops including a small supermarket. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We recommend the bistro at the river side. The town is small but has some interesting sights to offer. We, as a family, stayed in the apartment which was huge and offers a kitchen and even a washing machine! The hotel staff was very friendly, and quickly helped with a small problem with the TV. Breakfast was great too and we got a coffee to go when we took off. All in all a we had a great stay.
