    Proceed with caution!!!

We booked this villa for the last two nights of our stay in Bali. We didn't expect 5 star but expected what we paid for. We only had one power plug in the whole unit. When we went down to get one, we returned three times with broken ones. They didn't have anymore so to boil the kettle we ended up buying one. The bathroom was falling to pieces and was not clean. The glasses for brushing your teeth still had other peoples toothpaste stains in them. The coffee cups were filthy. But the icing on the cake was when I paid half the daily rate to have late checkout, I mentioned that it will be around 6:30. When my husband went down to get scales for suitcases (that were broken) the staff told us that the manager said we have to be out at 6:30 or we have to pay $10 aus for an extra hour. How does that work when your paying half the day?? Family and ourselves have stayed in Bali many times and never had this ridiculous request before. Will definitely not return to or recommend this villa to anyone.

    Average place to stay.

The location is good but the accomodation is very basic. I he booked into the Sari Villa but was given a room in Amansari Villa which is just next door. While the room was large it smelt very badly of mould. It could have been cleaner. I'd probably stay somewhere else next time.

    Nice but noisy

For $52 a night it was exactly what we needed for our 3 week stay. The room was serviced daily at various times and the was in itself fairly slapdash ( but as I said earlier $52 a night) The location is the real winner with restaurants outside your door If youre looking for something quite I would choose further out of the main area All in all it was okay

    Very Disappointed! Stay Away!

I found the Amansari Villa on a booking site and called in to make a booking as the price seemed reasonable. When I arrived I expected to stay in the Amansari villa based on my phone conversation but they told me that it was unavailable and they would move me to a smaller room Villa Sari which was the same price. I had a look at the smaller room and turned it down as it was small, run down and very overpriced for what was offered. Only then did they offer to move me to the bigger Amansari Villa for an additional fee. I needed a bigger room so I had a look at the room in person. The room had huge cracks in the wall, the furniture had heavy wear and tear on it and it looked much worse than it did in the pictures listed online. I was very disappointed with what I saw and tried to get my money back. I had paid in cash when I arrived (before knowing they put me in the wrong building and how poor the condition was of Aman Sari). I asked for my money back and until now have not been able to get it back. I went back to the hotel in person 4 different times to try to get my money back. Each time the manager was not there and promised me to call me back later. I rarely complain but this visit warrants a complaint. I am Very Very Disappointed. -Steve
