  Friendly staff and over the top place!! lovely!

  A prior visit (day booking) by my wife and kids gave us a taste of what a great place Amaloh could be...two weeks after, during a Friday plus weekend two of the chalet type rooms were booked by us. Absolutely lovely stay, amidst some trepidations over COVID fears that was generally flowing around Sri Lanka. However, we found it was nothing to worry - the enjoyment was much more heightened due to the almost individual attention we got from the staff, especially the assistant manager (Sampath) - and the Manager of the place. The kids aged 8 and 6 loved the place, the pool, kayaking, hotels close proximity to the famous Polhengoda beach and chasing the hermit crabs, the resident peacock and numerous birds etc...the food options were limited to a la carte and off-the-menu options but the kitchen staff rushed to accommodate as much as possible. Overall, it was a great stay with three grandparents also finding the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely a repeat stay is warranted!!!

  Best location during matara stay

  Very clean & neat place.very close to polhena beach We stayed in family room where we had sufficient space over their. Friendly staff.no buffet available due to corona in these days.friendly atmosphere .

  A place of absolute tranquility and warm hospitality

  The unique twist of architecture,the serene atmosphere,and the mouth watering dishes,were simply mind blowing.We are so grateful for being able to witness and spend an amazing time in this classy hotel.The warm turquoise pool was an absolute eye catcher.Apart from taking a dip in the ocean,everyone can enjoy Kayaking as well.The great hospitality of the staff is much appreciated.Thanks for making our stay wonderful and memorable.

  Best value for money

  Great value for money with they offer they gave us. Food was excellent. Our room #37 was very spacious and there was a jacuzzi. You can kayak, dip in sea or pool, so kids will love it. Excellent service.

  Amazing place to spend your holiday with the family... very homely and a relaxed place... staff is extremely helpful as well... Front desk manager Kanishka has been very helpful from the time he took our booking Will be visiting again
