Muchas gracias.

Brilliant family hotelWe enjoyed a week at Hotel Andrija which is the childrens hotel on the Amadria resort. The staff at the kids club were fantastic & struck up great relationships with our kids who were really happy to go to the club while we relaxed by the pool. The whole resort is very scenic so get out & explore the seafront asap. I wouldnt recommend going half board as the hotel restaurant is pretty hectic & noisy. It was also quite difficult to social distance with the self-service. The water park is fun but quite expensive.

great holidaySo with Covid-19 we feel very fortunate to have even been able to go on a 2 week holiday. We were slightly unsettled when, 3 days before departure, we were told our intended hotel, Jakov, was closed. We were moved to Andrija, which was for younger children. Whilst there were far more babies and smaller kids and their associated noise, it was fine. The family we travelled with were moved to Hotel Jure (the only 2 of 5 hotels open in Amadria Park.) so this meant we all had the benefit of both hotels, we ate in their restaurant and swam in their pool. (both pools were great, very safe and clean with plenty of sun beds) The location near Sibenik is amazing. The Adriatic sea so clean and beautiful. The beaches were a bit naff, man made stones, so take beach shoes for kids. But once in the water it was fab. We got some great photos playing on the permanent inflatables in the sea. My wife also loved the nearby paddle boarding/Sup centre. We twice rented self drive boat from "Rico" available near the also closed Pirate ship. Great days spent exploring the Islands. We loved Zlarin, also tried Prvic but when we arrived the locals clearly didn't want us there so we scarpered. The Town of Sibenik is a must visit, we loved walking the cobbled, narrow streets, each turn presenting new photo opportunities. The views at the top of St Michaels fortress were second to none and will be on our wall soon. Recommend you visit Dalmatino restaurant and Galerija both were fantastic finds. (Bazza was great too but that's a more obvious choice given its location) Located on narrow streets so you can see the world go by. Great food, amazing service and the very good value local red wine was worth a try. Back to Amadria Park. The facilities were great. The Ethno village restaurant was absolutely brilliant. Trattoria pizzeria was good, if a bit expensive. The also partially closed Mediteranean Village also had a fast food joint which was perfectly fine for lunch. As was Bongos, although the amount of plastic and polystyrene they waste there annoyed me. Staff were all polite and attentive, did often have to queue for attention in the lobby area but overall everyone was great. Felt very safe with face masks in use. Minor issue, so many Cratians smoke so if planning to eat outside, expect to be inhaling second hand smoke. Put this place on your list if you have a family. Enjoy.
