Nice but noisyWe arrived and after parking in the small courtyard, with the help of the receptionist who stopped traffic for us, we were shown to our room. Though compact it was nicely furnished and comfortable except for the bedside lamps which, though very stylish when off, were very uncomfortable when on as the bulbs were bare. The shower room was relatively spacious and clean. Despite the hotel not being full we were given a room overlooking the street that we were assured was quiet after 9pm. It was NOISY ALL NIGHT LONG, something of a rat run, so we had little or no sleep. The climate control, which we had to turn on ourselves on arrival, did warm the room eventually. There was a radiator in the room but it remained cold as the central heating was obviously not turned on. The whole hotel, though very prettily decorated for Christmas, was so cold that the staff were dressed in their hats and coats the whole time! We wished wed had ours on too for breakfast - coffee and croissant served in a very cold room. The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the town and the Reggia. It is also convenient for Naples airport so we may stay there again though next time we will make sure to book a room that overlooks the quiet courtyard and have breakfast in our room!

Clean and cosy hotel in Caserta! We stranded in Caserta after touring the Amalfi-Coast. Found this lovely hotel in the heart of Caserta. Clean and cozy rooms in a charming old palace-house. Very friendly staff! Car-parking just 5 Euros per night. Italian breakfast included. If you get one of the darker rooms, don´t worry-they have a very nice sun-terrace upstairs. I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Caserta. A good option for the last night before your flight from Naples airport.

Lovely rooms, but unsecured lobby/car park?My Aunt and I stayed here, in our own rooms. My room was very well furnished and comfortable, with a cozy balcony attached. My Aunt's room was street-side, which had a bit of noise to go with that. Enjoyed a coffee and cornetto in the morning in their dining room, then left to view the Reggia di Caserta. The only problem I had was when we returned to pick up my car, it smelled like someone had been smoking inside of it. Which took half the drive to Venezia to dissipate, and bothered me even more because I am pregnant. I'm sure this was a rare occurrence, but I thought I should mention it all the same.

Unacceptable, Unsafe ! Inacceptable et pas de sécurité !Their website mentionned several languages. The receptionist didn't speak nor English nor French. The only word he pronounced while checking-in was ' passport ' and 'one'. ( probably meant 1st floor). When I came back from early shopping at 9.50 a.m I found the door of my room WIDE OPEN ,with I-phone, I-pad and all my luggage in there and at sight... UNACCEPTABLE !! Need repairs in the bathroom ( sink obstruction and shower) The only friendly person was the young lady serving Italian breakfast. I paid cash and didn't receive a receipt... Try another place !

Great choiceArrived at 20:30 for a three night stay, but the tour company had sent the hotel the wrong dates. Twenty minutes later, the owner had organised another hotel 5 miles away , supposedly higher rated, driven us there and picked us up at 10:00 the next morning. Couldn't fault our two night stay and the staff were awesome and the Amadeus was the better hotel. Definitely stay again and thanks for Versus music!
