  Beautiful, spacious, dirty place

  Remember to never have emergencies or fall sick, because the cancellation policy is ridiculous: if you cancel an apartment a month ahead, you still have to pay up to 90% of the price, which is definitely not budget. Moreover, it's impossible to book breakfast in the hotel if you rent an apartment. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, but the floor was terrible: the bathroom and the corners of the kitchen were full of long, dark hair. I had to sweep the floor and was always careful where I stepped, that's how disgusting it was. Thankfully the heating works well, as the winter nights are freezing and the blankets are really tiny: as you turn in your bed, you end up with your feet or back uncovered. The hotel position is very convenient, with cheap parkings nearby and at walking distance from the city center, but Lubeck is also not such a big city. Internet is free and works well.

  Beautiful location

  Great location for a short walk in to town and my room had a beautiful view overlooking the lake with the Lübeck Cathedral in the on the other side. Small balcony. Parking was a bit tricky but managed to find a space close to the Cathedral, 10 minutes walk which is not too bad for central part of any town. Room was clean and just what I needed. Good solid wifi and friendly staff. A good choice when coming to Lübeck.

  Great location

  This is a nice family run hotel. My room was single but plenty big and en suite (not sure about others, I think mine was the only en suite). They were flexible with check in and all although they didnt even consider my request to check out late. The annoying thing was not being able to flush down toilet paper (!!!) I felt like I wasnt in Europe anymore. I didnt try breakfast as there was a supermarket 5min away so I bought food (no fridge or kettle in the room). Most shops, supermarkets and pharmacies are closed on Sunday. The hotel is 25 min walk from the train station, and the buses 6 or 7 stop there (stop Stadhalle, which is across the street from hotel). There are lots of restaurants nearby. Lubeck old town is enclosed like an island, so this hotel is in a great location to see everything. Very beautiful views across the river nearby.

  Way better than 3.5 stars!

  We had 2 room family apartment. Clean (spotless), big, modern, well equipped, comfortable. Friendly staff, good location fairly central great view over lake & church. Slightly noisy at times & could do with black out blinds but v close to 5*. Brilliant value !

  Spacious Apartment

  The streets around this hotel are currently under construction. There is no on-site parking, and it is a hike to the nearest public park garage. We stayed in the holiday apartment. For four adults, it was very spacious. The updates are wonderful. Cleanliness is top-notch. Check-in times are quite limited, and staff is not present around the clock. No English.
