  Good Location

  The rooms are too small but clean. Close to the train station and city center.Breakfast is very rich. t looks like traditional German Gueshouse.You can see from hotels window a Castle which was the entrence gate to Aachen at that time Result: Good/Clean but small rooms.Easy to reach from train station.

  Hotel is in a good location but is a little old the breakfast are fine and the service is excellent they have a business office and a very nice Lounge is located a short distance from the train station

  Lovely stay , prime location and good atmosphere

  Spent two nights at this hotel. We were very satisfied with both the room and the service provided. We were met by nice, polite and friendly stuff. Breakfast was great too. we were lucky to get a room with a view of the old cityport Marschiertor. The location is very handy very close to the main train station and also just a few minutes walk from the city center and Aachen dom.

  Basically all you need

  Average small business hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast. Friendly service, good location at the train station and close to the city center. Parking opposite the hotel in a large parking station. All you basically need for a stay in Aachen.

  Claustrofobic room

  I I was in Aachen and as my trip to Dusseldorf would be early in the morning, i tried booked Ibis Haupbarhouf. And I did it. But when I was going to the hotel, I put Ibis near to train station anf it give me the Marshiertor. I didn't know this when I arrived the hotel. I showed my booking to the attentend and she tell me that was another, but it was raining and cold. She told me she could book a room there in Marschiertor, because the hotel was almost empty. I agreeed, but told her that I would pay the same value as if was Haupbarholf. She agreed, but put me in a small room, with a cold tilted window... I saw after that they have only few guests.. so, the woman could put me a better room. I was already there in Marshiertor, a good accomodation in that time.. In this time was depressed.
