  Tranquility, comfort and homeliness

  Close to - and still out of - the centre of Schönebeck. Adjacent to a very nice spa park,with an impressive "Gradierwerk". 5 minutes walking from the railway station form where you are only 10 to 15 minutes away from Magdeburg centre (Must see that). Very friendly personell, very good kitchen and a "family atmosphere". Just try it, but please not all of you at the same time...I don't want to get confronted with a "sorry we are fully booked" ;-)

  Reccommendable

  We have stayed at the hotel for the second time, over a night, as we were on a business meeting at the city. I would for sure reccommend this hotel, the rooms are nice, very clean, the bathrom ditto, nice location close to the city park. The restaurand does cook very good, what is not obvious for a hotel restaurant at all! This one is an exception, we have enjoyed our dinner each time. The breakfast is sufficient and familiar. Parking close to the hotel, just a few steps... The smoking room next to the reception desk is very handy for us smokers.. :D

  Quite hotel, close to very good

  The location is close to the thermal bad. In the area are not many places to eat. The restaurant was ok, but not really special. The breakfast was very good. Lots off stuff and fresh. The hotel has to areas. The "old" and the "new" one. Take the new one if possible. But even there the carpet is not in a very good shape anymore. The service is very good. It is a good choice to stay, but a little bit is missing to be a very good hotel.

  Fair for the price

  We have stayed at this property for many times already. Never happened, that the restaurant was not working. We were forced to eat at the nearby restaurant called "Balkan". Don´t you ever do that! This restaurant among ranking of all I have eaten is, is the one, I would never enter and never eat again. The hotel was empty, there were living just several guests there, what I think is due to the missing airconditioning. But we will use this property for sure again, as there is no better at this place.

  Not recommended

  The only advantage of this hotel is the restaurant. Helpful personnel, tasty food. Unfortunately, that's all. Wifi? Forget about it...didn't work both on my mobile and laptop, but hotel answer was "it works, you must have a problem...". Yeah, on two devices at the same time... Used to work in IT so I would even explain them how to fix it - but not a single soul in this hotel speaks English! I got double room (two connected beds), where I could choose - bad side or worst side of the bed... If possible, I will prevent from staying here again at any costs. And recommend the same to you...
