  Beatiful landscape, warm and cosy hotel. Quiet is the word for this hotel!

  We stayed there just for two nights, on a very nice bedroom, with unforgetable views to Alva valley. The river Alva is a must, with it's quiet natural beaches, just a few km away. You even can walk from the Hotel to one of them. All the valley is a wonderful surprise: the nature in pure state. The restaurant is a very nice surprise, nobody can miss it.

  Very confortable

  The room is really comfortable and clean. Beds are really comfortable. Excellent shower and bathtub. We had an extra bed for the baby for free, that was new and really nice. The stuff is excellent. The restaurant serves very good food for an affordable price. Breakfast is good (eggs and bacon, small cakes, yogurt, cereals, fruits...) and they replace everything even if at latest hour. Very quite place. Few cable channels. There is not so much sightseeing around, except for the fluvial beaches.

  Lovely wild flower arrangements for Easter

  We stayed for nearly a week in this comfortable and friendly hotel. The hotel was calm and the rooms were quiet. Our room had a large bed and a balcony there was a an ample car park below and a small shop next door. The bar and restaurant had lovely wild flower arrangements for Easter. The food in the restaurant was very good and so was the breakfast. The taps in the bathroom took a moment to sort out. They are strangely configured, you twist them for the temperature and toggle them for the flow.

  A sanctuary in the heart of Portugal

  Can only recommend this hotel, everything is very new. We got a room with a beautiful big balcony and view of trees and a bit of the mountains. Really big room as well. New interior. The WiFi is a bit on and off, not the best. Breakfast is included, very basic not many choices, would have been amazing with fresh cut oranges/fruit and fresh bread and cheese. Had to purchase coffe, the coffee provided was not worth drinking. The service was great as well.

  3 star hotel and it shows

  3 star hotel and it shows. Plus: Decor and friendly staff. Cons: It was said that a cradle was available and when we got there it was broken. Compliment coffe machine in the room was also broken. Shower water pressure was terrible. When AC is on we can't hear the TV.
