  Can finally tick glamping off the bucket list

  We were very pleasantly surprised by the glamping tent. Comfortable clean bed, reverse cycle air conditioning to keep us warm. Very clean bathroom with white fluffy towels and of course a heated towel rail. The night stars are absolutely amazing. There were a few things we were disappointed with; No oven - just a convection microwave - you really need full amenities when you are so far away from restaurants. The fire - to obtain the maximum effect the Eco fire needs to be on full. This means you only have 7 hours of fuel. We stayed 4 nights, we requested a fuel top up on the Wednesday and we were out of fuel again by Thursday afternoon. It would be fantastic to be able to have a safe fire pit outside to enable the true camp feel. I would have loved a Nespresso coffee machine. The tent itself is quite aged and there is mould inside. This could (for immune compromised people) pose a health risk. Overall, the above points are more our personal needs/wants and should not be a reflection on Marion or Alure. Im sure if we had mentioned these things, Marion would have addressed them as you can tell she is very committed and proud of her business and so she should be. A good place to stay, although for us, we would book a villa. A big shout out to the people we met during our Vineyard crawl.....would highly recommend Tobin wines (thanks Adrian) and Brass Monkey Brewery, beer from heaven. Stanthorpe and surrounding areas are in deep drought and need all of the support we can give. There are various donation sites and we encourage you all to donate.

  A lovely escape

  We had a lovely stay at Allure Villas for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The villas are really comfortable and have all you need for a relaxing getaway - particularly loved the spa and fire.

  holiday as a couple

  Thank you to Chris and Lynne for their awesome hospitality at the Granite Gardens Cottages and Lake Retreat..so peaceful & relaxing.. topped off with a fabulous breakfast and cheese hamper waiting for your arrival. The evenings were freezing but set in our Unit was a wood fire ready for lighting... We thoroughly appreciated the tranquility of the beautiful area and have no hesitation in recommending Granite Gardens Cottages and will definitely return...

  Absolutely superb!

  Alure is absolutely without fault. Beautiful little boutique accommodation where you feel like you have unlimited space all to yourself. We especially loved sitting in the jacuzzi at night watching the stars. Amazing!

  Relaxing

  Beautiful place to stay and unwind. My husband and I loved our two night stay. The accommodation was perfect and the hosts did not leave you wanting for a thing. Breakfast hamper was amazing . Not far from some great winerys we will definitely be back.
