  Beautiful hotel, amazing sea views, friendly staff

  Beautiful hotel, with amazing sea views, we've not long got back from a week here with two children, it's a lovely hotel, food was great lots of choice, the beach is literally 5 minute walk nice small and quiet you can hire 2 sunloungers and a parasol for 7 euros,the staff was great always very polite and friendly, Would definitely recommend!!

  Couples Holiday

  Great weeks holiday to relax. The hotel itself is lovely although the rooms are small and dated in desperate need of a refurb.Couldn't fault the food or the staff. Not much to do out and about so taxi trips about 8 euros into town. Lots of bars and resteraunts. Would go back if rooms were improved

  Fantastic holiday

  Myself and my 18 yr old daughter stayed here for 1 week in sept , we arrived on the sunday after a tiring and eventful journey to be greeted by the warmest of welcomes from Elani and the reception staff . The next day we found out what had happened to Thomas cook and understandably the staff were upset by this but the professionalism by all members of staff was impeccable, As the hotel had fewer and fewer guests as the week went on the staff continued to entertain and look after us remaining guests . We had a room overlooking the infinity pool and sea and it was beautiful, the food was plentiful and delicious. We really hope that we can return next year as our holiday here was wonderful .

  Fantastic Holiday

  From the moment you arrive at the hotel the staff make you feel so welcome,Eleni greets you with a warm welcome and a cold towel and a nice glass of champagne,she arranged for our bags to be taken to our room while we went for lunch,she is a gem.The reception staff are efficient and very friendly,a pleasure to deal with. We had a sea view room that was spotless and cleaned every day,it had everything we needed. We found the food in the hotel to be of a very good standard with plenty of choice,the Greek night was excellent and Demitris spoke with great passion about the local food and really made the night for us. The bar staff were excellent particularly Taz and Tony who are so friendly and funny, they were great at the Greek night getting everyone involved,they remember your name and your drink and always have a warm for you. As our holiday was during the Thomas Cook collapse and we had read some horror stories online about how customers had been treated in other countries we were a bit concerned,however this could not have been more different at this hotel,even though the collapse of Thomas Cook affected the hotel they treated us with respect,dignity and compassion and for that we are very grateful,i'am sure other operators will be falling over each other to get this hotel on their books. Would we return to this hotel,absolutely!!! the staff alone make it a 4* hotel

  One of the worst hotels I have ever been to!

  Upon arriving at the hotel we were shown to our room. The room was one of the worst I have ever been in. Dark, dingy and dirty are probably the best words to describe it. Our bedsheets were covered in stains, our bathroom was damp all over and there were hairs everywhere. We immediately went back to reception and asked to move. After a while of fighting with the receptionists and being told there were no other rooms available, they eventually (and conveniently) found another room for us however it would be a downgrade to a garden room (we had originally booked a side sea view room). We agreed to the downgrade on the basis we would get the difference in money back. The room we moved to still wasnt great and nowhere near the standard of room I would expect to find considering the amount of money we had paid, but it was better than the previous one and at least no stains on the bed linen this time! The next issue we encountered was when trying to book a taxi into Zante town. Despite me saying several times that we would need 3 cars to fit our party of 12, somehow the receptionist only managed to book one and told us the complete wrong price. When we went back inside to find out what was going on, one of the other receptions butted in and became very aggressive. In the end we had to wait over an hour for 3 taxis into town. I have stayed in all different types of hotels but the 2 things I do expect above all are cleanliness and good customer service. This hotel offered neither of these. Unfortunately, due to Thomas Cook going bust, we wont receive the refund we are due for the downgrade in room. The hotel have advised that they too havent been paid in full for our stay, but in my opinion it was completely overpriced in the first place.
