  Excellent and nice hôtel

  This hotel placed in the middle of the city is very nice and cosy. Rooms are large, modern and extremely clean ; high quality of beds. Take your time for a breakfast, it will be a real pleasure. In addition, the restaurant near the hotel is very good, taste it !

  Best small-town Hotel in Germany so far!

  I stayed here for one night only for business, which was a pity because its such a beautiful place I wish I could stay longer! We arrived at 9pm and the receptionist called us informing that they close at 8pm but will leave the keys in a code locker nearby for us. The room was beautiful and very big for german standards!! I travel a lot in Germany for business especially in small towns like this, and usually the rooms are charming but very small, but this was really luxuriously decorated and very comfortable. In the morning when I woke up I could see a lovely view over the town. I saw a Michelin 2018 sticker on their door but the restaurant was close when we arrived which was a pity! Breakfast spread looked very good, much bigger selection than normal hotels and some delicious looking specialty sausages. The dining room also has an amazing view! I would come here again for private just to stay at this hotel!

  Lovely view!

  When I arrived I felt good at once. Nice staff, and neat, clean room. The view over the valley is awesome! The serve incredibly good breakfast, with a good selection of yoghurts, bread etc. I definitely will stay here again!

  Dinner with friends

  Excellent menue. Very delicious. Best burger with home made BBQ sauce. Restaurant got Michellin award. Good drinks and very good service. We had a great time with a group of friends for a weekend trip. Area is also very nice and histrorical.

  Disappointing

  Based on price and reviews, we expected so much more... To start with, the woman at the receoptiondesk is probably the most unfriendly person I have ever met in this position. The rooms in the part of the hotel across the street are small, very basic and without any charm (Ikea stuff). There was a lot of noise coming from the street and the parc (youngsters having a party?) both very eatly and very late, and the hotel itself added to this by allowing very loud construction work to take place just in front of the breakfast earea (charming and a very friendly lady this time) during breakfast. All in all, a stressful expierience...and that is quite the opposite of what we had hoped for.
