  Nice hotel in a nice Place

  I spent 3 days with my wife in this hotel. Great hotel, with all services and very good kitchen. Even the wine list is very good. Pool, sauna, relax are perfect here. The location is very good, right position to get the center and to start for excursion.

  "People who love to eat ( at Alte Muhle ) are always the best people" Julia Child

  My wife and I scheduled a 16 day stay at Hotel Muhle to celebrate my retirement and hip replacement 8 weeks earlier. We were delighted with this classy, comfortable, friendly, boutique hotel with fantastic which met our every need. Our 6 course evening half board meals were never repeated. Most of the staff spoke and understood English although American and British tourists. Our room overlooked a rushing river used by joyful river rafters. In another direction we could enjoy our view of 12th century Castel Taufers. The lady of the house -Beatrice-was ever present to meet our every need. Hotel Alte Muhle is located the entrance to Valle Aurina- a hidden gem for athletic vacationers both summer and winter. Especially delightful were the night scrolls left on our room door to wish us a good night with an inspirational message. The dining room and bar staff were very pleasant. The wine list was very interesting and and reasonably priced and emphasized the local wines which are certainly unknown to most Americans. The hiking opportunities are unlimited with magnificent views of the southside of the Zillertal Alps.Our days were filled with hiking activities and we never had to leave the immediate area of the hotel. We actually felt very much at home at Alte Muhle. The village of Campo teres ( Sand in Taufers) offers everything you may require on a vacation. Most of all , Hotel Atle Muhle provides exceptional cuisine. The changing table decorations magnified the the delight of the gustatory experience. My wife and I can't wait to return to Alte Muhle. P.S. Beatrice has a wine tasting each Wednesday .

  5 stars ! Food, services, location... amazing experience!

  I spent 4 nights in Alto Muhle with my wife and 2 kids along with 5 other families we know, following one family that have been here for 5 years in a row. I understand why they do it: hotel is great, rooms are very comfortable, service is great and the food is amazing !! Location is also perfect, just 2-3 miles form Speikbodden ski slopes, another great place to ski with kids. All in all, the best ski trip we had !!

  Perfect Hotel and amazing service.

  Absolutely everything was perfect in Alte Mühle. The most delicious food and very friendly host. We would love to come back. Really recommend to book half board with 6 course Dinner . Area is perfect for skiing. Speikboden is only 2 km away

  HOTEL ALTE MUEHLE IS OUR PLACE!!

  We spent our skiing holidays at the Hotel Alte Muehle for several times. For this reason, We thought, that it will be quite difficult to describe the sufficiently the brilliance of our stay. But the opposite is true ... Hotel Alte Meuhle has maintained the very high standard of services for a long time. That is nearly unreal, how Beatrice and Sepp are able to improve our every stay against the past. Comfort of accommodation, fantastic cuisine, splendid relaxing wellness or the level of services provided or the fulfillment of almost unreal wishes of hotel guests are simply perfect. When you will combined that with a wide range of winter and summer activities as for example ideal skiing for demanding skiers and snowborders, beginners or for families with small children in both neighboring Speikboden & Klausberg ski-centres, cross-country skiing, walking with snowshoes, or "just" walking tour around the Taufers Castle and summer or winter walks around the river Aurin, to the waterfalls or, again, winter or summer tours to the surrounding mountains, all accompanied by hiking, mountaineering, cycling or mountain biking, swimming or skating in winter on the site of the historic center of Campo Tures. ... we have the unique possibility and stay at the HotelAlte Muehle more than recommended....
