  Beautiful Cozy Luxurious Hotel

  Great location, cozy rooms, great breakfast, stunning views, connected to ski slopes, has in house ski rental and storage service, hotel offers shuttle service to city center and back, warm staff! They showed us a wonderful time!

  Staying there again next year!

  Recently stayed for the third time in a row at hotel Pralong with my 4 friends and loving it more every year! The rooms still need some improvement but the service in the hotel is just wonderful. Starting with our hero Roland!! Ive visited quite some hotels in my life but he is absolutely one of the best concierges Ive ever met! Polite, a real gentleman, patient and always in tune. He can arrange almost everything for you in Courchevel! Thank you again Roland for making our stay unforgettable! Then there is Alain at the bar, very nice guy. Makes the best drinks and also in for a nice talk and compliment. The bar wouldnt be the same without Alain! In the ski room theres Marco & Fab... happy in the morning, helping everyone with putting on those freaking ski boots... and best of all taking them off again after a day on the slopes or in Cap Horn dancing . Thanks guys for always being there and keeping your cool! Every year before we arrive at the hotel we tell ourselves that well try something new next time but we end up deciding that well book again for next year! Thank you again for a fantastic time!   Worse...

  Worse hotel! And Its five stars??? !!! The dust on all shelves !! The room is disgusting! Wallpaper go away .very dirty! The rooms just do not clean! And why is this all ? Coz of New year holidays ?! A shame! Photos at hotels web site is absolutely different, as in real life ! 3 stars maximum , be truly to your guest Prolong hotel !

  Horrible Management led by a Terrible Directress

  We have stayed and enjoyed this hotel before thats why we came back this seanson. But we are truly disappointed and shocked by the things that went wrong and the reactions we got from the management against the problems we have have faced; especially from the blonde directress. Kids club was shut down for the whole week claiming that there was a seminar which there wasnt; and when we say this to the management and ask for a replacement room for the kids, they said they could not help and we could leave if we are not happy about this. Especially the blonde directress talked down and insulted my wife when she came to warn my 3 year old daughter not to play around the lobby while the kids club was shut down!! Another thing, the jakuzi was shut down for 2 days and the room phones was not working for 4 days. Also, we asked for a kettle to boil water but they said they did not have a kettle and charged 10euros each time we asked for hot water. On the 5th day when we complained about these charges, they said why dont you ask for a kettle and we found out that they actually have a kettle, but the first day they said they did not have one just to charge money for a hot water. Again, we liked this hotel but something is very wrong with the management this year. Also other families that we came across at the hotel who stayed here for many times before think the same way; something is wrong with this hotel this year! Hope they get this review to shaken up and get theirselves together, otherwise many old customers will not return!

  Fantastic staff service

  We stayed 8 nights and we really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.The breakfast had a wide variety and good quality of produce.The chef is very talented .The New Years Eve dinner was an excellent culinary experience, the mixture of ingredients where a piece at art.Marco and Fabian were very helpful in the ski room , always had a lovely attitude and were a delight to see at the beginning and end of our skiing day.Roland the concierge is a real gentleman and provided a first rate concierge service.The chauffeurs are another highlight, always available, courteous and helpful. Dropping and picking us up any time of day or night. The location on the slope is excellent, and avoids queuing in the morning. Great sun terrace. The understanding of English for room service is not good, making some basic mistakes. I asked for English breakfast tea with milk, and non English tea arrived with no milk. The rooms are a little disappointing but it was our return visit to the hotel so for us the great positive energy from the staff we mentioned more than outweighed the average rooms. Overall an amazing and happy holiday. We will be back......
