  excellent place for (large) families

  rooms are spacious and 2-4 kids are accomodated easily in a lodge. The kitchen is fully equipped but the rest is basic: no room cleaning, towel replacement only after request, no breakfast, cracking beds, no place to hang shirts. Good location: hiking and biking trails, lakes, attraction for kids. Dirt pathway between lodges that become muddy after a rain.

  Very good lodge

  The location is amazing either for summer or winter - close to nature and surrounded by green (in summer). Check in was impressively easy - I arrived at 23:00 and my keys were separated in a locker waiting for being picked up. The lodge has plenty of space. We were 4 adults, 1 baby and 1 big dog and we all felt very comfortable. kitchen has everything to prepare a meal and everything was very clean!

  Great place for families & friends

  We loved this place! Big house with everything you need (no oven). Laundry service if needed. Better stay at the sandling area if you stay will little kids. Also great idea for vacation with friends. Can only imagine how this place looks like in the winter

  Great location for New Years in the mountains

  We stayed one week at Hagan Lodge Altaussee for New Years 2019/2020. We booked one house with 3 bedrooms for our family and also stayed with two kids (2 and 5 years). The location is great for a ski break but keep in mind its rather a small ski area and not very high, so it might only have artificial snow sometimes. Nevertheless, it was perfect for us with different levels and it also has two ski schools and a kids land where our daughter went a few days. The house was very well equipped. It didnt have an oven though and just an old coffee machine but I think you can live without that for a few days. Just two little things to keep in mind, in winter there is not much else to do than winter sports in the resort. No hiking trails for example. The walk to Blaa Alm was not very nice because at least half the way you have to walk on the street full of parked cars. And there is no grocery shop in the resort. So either you bring your food or you have to drive. Besides that there is a great breakfast delivery service where you can order bread, butter, eggs, etc. We made most of our dinners at the house but keep in mind if you want to go for dinner, always make a reservation in advance. (At least 2-3 days in advance) We enjoyed our trip a lot. The resort is great for a family trip. You can also rent sledges and sun beds. The hospitality and service was perfect. The fireworks for New Years were amazing and just in front of our house! Wow! Thank you Hagan Lodge!

  Would recommend it in a heartbeat!

  Such a lovely place! We had a great time and are very grateful for the warm welcome. The area is very beautiful and the houses are in a quiet location, close to two gorgeous lakes. The private sauna is dedinitely worth it!
