  Ski at morning, SPA at afternoon

  Recomiendo ir allí en la época de marzo-mayo. Hay buena nieve y por la tarde puedes tomar el sol y bañarte perfectamente en la piscina. En Neustift hay un buen ambiente los fines de semana para salir por la noche. En cuanto al hotel sin duda es el mejor de todos en los que he estado en éste valle. Buena comida, buen servicio, muy tirolés.

  Cant fault the place Sauna was fab 5 course meals every night faultless staff friendly Rooms good Easy to get to slopes Would definitely return to this hotel The breakfasts were very good as well Would definitely recommend

  Fantastic ski holiday

  Just got back from an amazing ski holiday.I have been to the hotel before about 10 years ago and it is still as good. You definitely wont need any jumpers in the hotel as it is really warm.I went to dinner in my slippers every night it is really relaxed and homely. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The Spa was to die for after a hard day skiing .I would highly recommend hiring a locker at the ski lifts (45 Euros for 2 boots and skis for 6 days). This saves the hassle everyday carrying your equipment and boots up on the bus.It definitely was worth it. The town is lovely and quiet.We partially enjoyed walking up to bar in the town, which was a traditional Austrian large Chalet.Not big but cosy and lively with music. You might have read about the free toboggans at the hotel!!! Be warned !! Watch the YouTube video first... The cost is 6 euros to go up on cable car round the back of the hotel.We went up in the Friday afternoon.When we got to the top the Neuslift run was closed.So we went down the other one.It was extremely dangerous and very icy.Nobody told us about this and I definitely would approach with caution.You are literally on a 8km windy road with a massive drop at the side of you.I would imagine if it had snowed more it wouldnt have been as dangerous.At the bottom you are a 15 minute walk from the hotel with a massive wooden sledge,which is very heavy. Definitely check this out before attempting it.I am not sure if ski boots would have been better to stop you in ice,but then to walk back to the hotel in them would be a nightmare with the sledge.I definitely wouldnt take children on it at all. I personally didnt think it was safe . Overall Neustift is a traditional Austrian village and will prove you with a wonderful holiday.

  Pleasant stay

  Very nice and clean hotel with great spa area. Personel is kind and helpful. Location of hotel is good, near store and skibus stop. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of variety, same applies to dinner. Wifi is free and powerful enough to send emails, read news and watch low quality video without any buffering. Hotels own ski rental is convenient with up to date equipment. We shall definitely visit again!

  A great base for a skiing holiday

  There is a well-stocked, well-priced supermarket just over the road from the hotel - great for drinks and snacks. We appreciated having ski hire within our hotel. Our rooms were comfortable, well-organised and cleaned daily. The rooms are plenty warm enough - best ensure that you have lighter clothes to wear when indoors. The breakfasts were ample. Fresh, warm bread and the usual range of cheese and cold meats. Oddly, there was sliced beef on Sun and Mon but it never appeared again - enjoy it while you can! An earlier review mentioned sausages but we were only offered bacon with our scrambled or boiled eggs. There is a selection of fruit drinks from a dispenser, but no actual fruit juices available. The Elferbahn ski area, although compact, within easy walking distance was a real treat. Mainly we hopped on a free bus to either of the other two main ski areas. For Stubaier glacier, waiting at the bus stop on the RHS as you leave the hotel meant we always got a seat for the 25min journey. The buses work smoothly. At Schlick 2000 we decided to return to the hotel after lunch, but the return buses don't run all day; you have to be after 3pm (I think) for Neustift. As for road noise: we overlooked the outdoor pool area and beyond it the main road but we didn't find it a problem, even with the door propped slightly ajar overnight. We enjoyed the evening meals - there was a sufficient and inventive variety. We had a most successful holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel.
