  Friendly Place

  Stayed two nights heading North from Italy and what a good choice. Excellent location in a very lovely village with some great views and central to everything in the area. The room was large and had some good views, though the lack of a fan or aircon meant the room got very warm at night - it was very warm weather during our stay, but I should imagine at other times it would not be an issue! The staff were excellent and most friendly. They have a very attractive secluded terrace area where they serve an excellent cold beer! There is a small indoor pool, sauna and solarium and the Hotel is well positioned for local walks and bike rides. Also a very short walk near by, there are a number of other restaurants, cafe's and a first class ice cream parlour with a umber of other small shops. Plenty of parking was available at the Hotel to the front. We dined in the restaurant, which had a limited but a decent choice of local Bavarian choices, which would suit most - we enjoyed what we we were served and it was good value.... A good breakfast was put on each day and yet again the staff were very friendly at all times.

  Quiet & peaceful

  We stayed one night in June during our tour of Bavaria with our children. The hotel is located in a very quiet town and street. It was summer and we kept the window open because there was no air conditioning and didn't have any problem with noise from the outside. The bed was large and fairly comfortable. We didn't like the extremely soft pillows but that seems to be a problem throughout Germany. The bathroom was tiny but sufficient. The bathroom fittings were a bit dated but it was clean and adequate. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. There was no English menu and the staff did not speak much English but we managed to have a fairly good dinner. The breakfast spread was good. We didn't check out the facilities in the hotel as we were too tired but our kids had a good time playing pool. There was ample parking in front of the hotel. All in all a pleasant place to rest for the night.

  Surprisingly great little place to stay. Great rooms! Comfortable beds, very spacious rooms for 2 adults, 1 kid and pack-n-play crib (that I wasn't worried about collapsing) for 15-mo infant. Only major complaints were no bathtub for baby - but he enjoyed sitting in the shower which was very clean; no one was at the desk for early check (before 7 am) on the Sunday we left.
